Sound On Stage is a live sound reinforcement company in the San Francisco Bay area. System size ranges from intimate settings like outdoor weddings to large concerts like the Oakland Arena. Sound On Stage has been in business for over 35 years. Equipment includes speakers by L-​Acoustics, JBL and D&B, digital mixing consoles by Digidesign and Yamaha and more mics than we can even start to list.

History

Established in 1973.

Sound On Stage is a family owned and operated business that was built from the ground up. The owners and staff know sound from the inside out as many PA elements (speakers, mixers and crossovers) were originally designed and built by SOS back when there were few commercially available choices to live sound companies. The sound equipment at SOS is now the best available. The inventive problem solving still is a way of life at SOS as many corporate and private shows present unique problems that are solved in the wood and machine shops at SOS.

Jerry has been a sound man all his life. His philosophy is to provide the best sound with the look that works with the event. His staff consists of engineers who, like himself, have years of experience working with artist and event planner alike. Jerry’s directive to his staff is always the same; superb sound with a look that matches that of the event.
