Omid comes from a family of mechanics. He has been raised in the automotive industry sine the age of 4. He has owned two other shops previous to this one and his family also owns another shop in Fremont.

Wow i called to ask if i could come in at 5:30 that is 30 mins before they close and the guy who first of all sounded rude said he doens’t take customers at 5:30 wow seriouosly isn’t a smog only supposed to take less than 20 mins? Bullshit i’ll take my service else where!

Service was great. I was in and out in 30 minutes at 9am, Lionel dropped what he was doing to change my oil, I saw him get a new filter and it was less than $ 30 out the door. He was honest, speedy and nice.

Called in to get smog done on my truck. They told me the price (average) and I explained that I wanted a deal. Was instructed to stop in and he will honor a very good price he gave over the phone.
Arrived several hours later, and was in and out in less than 20 min. Smog was done and sent to DMV.

I used to take my cars here to get smogged and have the oil changed before we moved. I have been looking for a place on our new town and after finding nothing but your «typical» smog places, I remembered how easy these guys made it for us. They really spoilt us. We don’t have particularly high demands but they met and exceeded our expectations every time. We really appreciated that they are fast and don’t give you any pressure and always make your feel comfortable, welcomed and appreciated; a lost art. I would definitely recommend them!

The people here were friendly, and the oil change was reasonably priced at $ 80 for synthetic oil with a new filter, same as the Lexus dealership (which I should have just gone to, but no, I wanted to sleep in instead). However, the smog fee for my sedan was $ 70 bucks! They also started the smog without giving me an estimate. The dude gave it to me after he already started it, and since I’m obviously not a car person, I didn’t know what stopping it in the middle would do.
I could have gone down the street and got it for $ 30 or $ 40 bucks with the certificate. I’m not broke, but I still don’t like having to overpay for stuff that’s the same elsewhere. I mainly went here bc of the good reviews, and bc I needed both. Like one of my Prof’s once said, convenience is expensive.

I grew up in the East Bay and have been to many oil change & smog shops. My search has ended with the discovery of this quaint establishment. Great expert service, cheap prices and reliable parts are used here. Lots of cars in our household, so smog checks occur at least once a year if not more, so I’ll be there again.
