They installed a new state of the art home entertainment and audio system that is top of the line and has worked perfectly for more than one year. The quoted price was competitive. The equipment was the best available and the service was done and delivered on time and done right.
Since they did such a great job on that they recently came out to perform some cabling and networking work.
Again they exceeded my expectations. Good service and done right.

We had PSS Electronics do a lot of work (alarm, security cameras, sound systems, mounting TV’s). It was a pleasure to deal with Jay and Manuel, their service was prompt, the quality of the workmanship was outstanding and very professional. This company is an absolute mess and at this point, I can call them thieves as well. We purchased a 17 unit apartment building where PSS Electronics was handling the fire monitoring for the property. We called them promptly at close of escrow to transfer the billing information over. Within a week or two, we received our first invoice from them, which we paid. A week or two later, our fire alarm went off and low and behold, no call from PSS. When I called them to inquire, their answering service reported to me that didn’t even have an active account with them. Despite making every effort to transfer it over and paying them in a timely manner, they simply stopped monitoring our building and cashed our check anyhow. Not only is this dangerous considering the gravity of not having monitoring on a fire system, but it’s also just terrible business. I have called at least 20 times over the course of 3 months. Very rarely do I get somebody who is in their actual office. They have an answering service which takes the majority of their calls, even during business hours. When I get a real person in their office (by fluke when they actually pick up, as they never return calls), they assure me that a refund for our payment is on its way (since they never did monitoring for us). I had a different company take over the monitoring as soon as I found out PSS was not handling it despite taking $ for it and that company has been excellent.
We are still waiting for our refund, 3 months later. We deal with about 100 vendors on a regular basis (monthly) and this is the worst vendor in any trade I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I would highly recommend avoiding them at any cost.

PSS installed a custom home theatre and whole house sound system in our older home. They were very professional from design to install to training. I shopped around. They were the only ones that came out and explained all the work that needed to be done with each option. They ran cabling thoughout the entire home. The project took several days as it involved most rooms in the home. They cleaned up every time. All 6 employees I dealt with were very courteuos and knowledgable. I never felt pressured into any one brand since they are distributors for numerous manufacturers.
I was so impressed, I had them install an alarm system as well.
I am writing this review now even though the work was done over a year ago because I had a mini project that I thought would be to small for them. They scheduled someone to come out this past Saturday and took care of it. You can find no one better for home theatres and alarm systems in the Bay Area.
