The place was deserted when I went. A very random place. I seriously thought I was going to get food poisoning here, BUT I’m always up for a newbie culinary adventure. A pool table was situated smack dab in the middle of the restaurant andhHalf of the restaurant was closed off. There was a fully stocked fridge of cervezas, Budweisier and Coors was on tap, and only 5 or 6 bottles of coca-cola were available. It looked like a bar with a working kitchen. There was one male working. He took our order, cooked our food, and tallied up our check. A true bugs bunny moment. We ordered six $ 1.25 tacos(lengua, al pastor, carne asada) and two burritos(chicken, carne asada). The al pastor tasted like chorizo, which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. The burritos were short but stuffed with a lot of girth for $ 4.50. Salsa roja was good and added a decent amount of flavor to our food. Not exactly sure if this is a return destination, but I wouldn’t exactly say no to a quickie if I was in the area.
