I’m not sure how to rate this place. On one hand, the tailor does excellent work, and can fix zippers and sew rips in shirts(what I had asked him to do for my two items). On the other, more negative hand, the tailor is not always there during working hours(I’m told by another worker in there, who may run the drycleaning portion of this business, that the tailor is usually only there during the mornings). I’ve stopped by multiple times after work, before 6:30pm, to not find the tailor anywhere. My items have also not been ready when I was told they would be. The prices seem to be fairly reasonable for the effort involved, but perhaps try to call this establishment first before you show up. Also, I suppose try to get there in the morning. This is not possible for the average working person, so you’re forced to roll the dice and hope the tailor is there in the early evenings. There is a drycleaning part of this business, but I was told by the tailor and drycleaner they are not partners and seem to operate independently of one another(the drycleaner couldn’t help me with the tailoring, for instance). I may go to another place on Main St in the future that I’ve been to before, after this latest zipper fiasco on my pants is fixed, just because of the unpredictability of this establishment. The parking is also a little dicey; I’ve seen what I assume are transients wandering around outside, and aside from a few spots in front, there’s not many spaces to sit your vehicle. There is some rear parking, but it’s basically a one way(the exit isn’t finished, looks like it’s under construction) in and out, so be careful(no street parking – it’s a hard right on Jackson, right after Soto).

The prices here are pretty good and most of the work is great. Recently though we brought a dress here and he used safety pins to attach the dress to the hangers. This obviously left little holes in the straps which made my wife not so happy. For men’s clothes it’s fine but be wary.

Best Prices! Usually when you pay this little for dry cleaning the work is spotty. This place did a great job on all 20 shirts I dropped off. So happy I found this place.

Pro: The owner is very nice and his prices are some of the cheapest around. He does good work and his tailoring is above average as well. Con: He is a bit slow at times. His computer system seems to be out of date which makes it hard to find you clothes sometimes. So make sure you always have your ticket when picking up your clothes. Overall I highly recommend this place for it low prices and quality work.
