Jacks auto shop is very friendly. The guy who helped me with fixing my healdlight was very quick. He reasonably charged me and tested in front of me to make sure i was satisfied with the auto service. Would surely come back!

Nice guys but they didn’t find my broken thermostat even though I went in with problems with oil burning too fast. A couple days later my car overheated and now my radiator is cracked. I’m lucky that my engine didn’t burn up.

Jack and his crew are a reliable and efficient team of automotive masters. Eager to please and more than happy to express the process of each and every repair to a car-​dunce like myself. Always high energy and straightforward, Jack worked with my insurance without complaint and got me some superior value to boot. They have been working on my car since before I even had the title, and I can’t imagine taking it anywhere else for any kind of repair.
Repairs: front bumper repair and painting, tire rotation, oil change, general diagnostics, brake pad replacement (all separate occurrences over the course of a year.)

The dealership had, for many years, done a poor job on my stepbrother’s VW. There was a particular problem with the tires that the dealership, for some reason, could not fix (the pressure kept getting low) despite numerous attempts to fix it (and they even charged us for it!). One trip to Jack’s and the problem was solved. I will never forget that. Now I also bring my minivan to Jack’s. They provide honest, knowledgeable, straightforward good service to their customers. I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone wanting to have their car serviced. Great job, Jack!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for weeks: I was very happy with my experience at Jack’s AutoHaus! I brought them my ancient 1998 BMW 740iL, it was loosing power when warmed up and literally came to a halt. I took it to 2 well established repair shops before bringing it to Jack’s Autohaus and both shops told me to salvage it because it was old and has over 195k miles. When my sons told me about Jack, I rushed over and jack himself diagnosed a few possible root causes for my issue, none of them which was to «salvage» my vehicle. I immediately knew Jack was a skilled Master mechanic at that point and he had that BMW running like a new car shortly thereafter!
Jack’s team took good care of me and my sons, service is excellent and I definitely recommend Jack’s AutoHaus if you’re looking for good customer service, knowledgeable craftsmen and quality service.

I made an appointment to diagnose the front end noise of my 2009 Mercedes E350. Upon arrival, Jack test drove the car, researched MB database, and fixed the problem. All this for just an hour of labor. Jack is friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and courteous. I would recommend Jack’s Autohaus without reservation.

Been coming here for years. Especially, when they used to be located off of Lewelling in San Leandro. Jack who is my buddy and mechanic has been maintaining our cars and developed a genuine friendship through out the years. His shop is the best! Quotes us honest and low rates for any mechanical repairs or just regular maintenance. If you ever need anything, Jack is the man! Highly recommended!

They fixed my VW. I was very pleased.
Then the dog tore the fender off my friend’s Mini and she really wanted it fixed before she left for Portland. They came through for me! How rare is that sort of service and kindness?
So then I started asking «Can you fix…» And with each question, I got a yes.
I’ve found myself a mechanic!
These two cars are old and paid for, it’s true. But they are both gonna be classics someday, in my opinion. I love these 2 cars and want them kept running and in good shape.
Like finding a good doctor for my family, I’ve found a good mechanic for my cars.

This review is long overdue! This is the type of business that you recommend to people without hesitation. My family and friends have been bringing their vehicles here for years, and when I moved back to the area, I could not have been happier to have an honest mechanic who I truly knew was looking out for my best interest. It’s rare and admirable to find that quality in a car shop; you truly appreciate it. They will not recommend bullshit, expensive, unnecessary things and are straight-​shooters at letting you know what needs to be done now, and what can be fixed later. Without hesitation, I recommend this place! Service is top-​notch.

Sorry to say the only thing bad about this review is the fact that I’m just getting around to enter it, it’s been more than a month since we had our 2002 Ford truck repaired at Jacks!
Husband thought he threw a rod, had to have the truck Towed home from Danville, that was not a fun evening! Called Joe at Jack’s Autohaus the next day and we took it in. They were able to get it back to us in a couple days, turned out to just be a blown spark plug, but they got the truck back to us quick, running great and at a price that didn’t break the bank either! Also while it was there they noticed some other issues with the truck and we will be taking it back there again soon to get the other recommended repairs, and in the mean time I will be advising anyone that I meet if they are in the need of an auto repair to take it to Jack’s! Jack and his team? I adore them. If you’re looking for a stand up company who will treat you with thorough respect (when you know nothing about how cars work but they explain very well the issues/​solutions) and take great care of your automotive needs… this is the place. I’ve been going to them for years.
They’ve kept my truck humming along. I have a 1995 GMC Sonoma. I love my «old» (19 year for those short on math) little truck and they never make fun of me for that.
Recently, I just «felt» something was off as we planned to take it on a road trip (tbh, I usually only drive it on errands around town… it doesn’t even have 60k miles). Jack said «Drop it by». It needed new front brakes, clutch work… and Jack found many other items that they fixed that made it thoroughly safe to drive up north. It hummed again.
Truly, Jack is honest, and very fair in costs. I almost hate to post this as last time I dropped the GMer off, his garage was full with waiting vehicles. BTIM, I never want to have to wait too long for their work. But, at the same time, I’m so glad to see a good business do well! And, now my husband also takes his car to Jack’s.

I’ve been a loyal customer for 10 plus years it’s so nice having a honest mechanic that buys oem qaulity parts and keeps the price low for dealer quality work the best advantage of the shop is the owner jack is extremely knowledgeable and very hard working and pays a lot of attention to every customers individual needs about their vehicle. for a honest neighborhood mechanic I would only trust jacks autohaus for my automotive needs and I hope some of you do the same.

I absolutely cannot say how wonderful the work and customer service is that I received from Jack and Joey at Jack’s AutoHaus!
I had a multitude of problems that needed attention; several codes and repairs needed to be addressed in order to pass smog, even a couple of oil leaks.
Only the necessary work was performed at a cost I was comfortable with. As a woman, these was indeed plus. I felt that I could trust the service at Jack’s AutoHaus and Jack did not disappoint.
Joey, who runs the office effortlessly and smoothly, even dropped me off and picked me up, to and from the shop so that I didn’t have to secure a rise or take a bus.
I am happy to say, I passed smog today in no small part to Jack and his staff at Jack’s AutoHaus!
Top notch service that I highly recommend.

A great shop.
One of the Big Dump trucks had a broken Fuel Meter and we needed to deliver it to the customer the next day. the boss had us drop the Truck off on wednesday and it was ready today (thursday). We delivered it to our customer and all was good.
