No stars given but have to give one in order to post. This place sucks. House juice sucks. The lady inside sucks. They haven’t had any new stuff. Workers inside look miserable and can’t wait to get fired. So sad how this was my go to spot and now I treat like that last pair of underwear before laundry day. Last resort. Don’t go here unless you wanna get ripped off and be rushed. To top it all off they’re Raider Haters!!! Fuck you !!! Raider Nation Bitch!!! Yee.

This shop is very convenient, since it’s close to us in downtown Hayward. They have a decent selection of house made juices at competitive prices. My girlfriend is partial to the Irish coffee and Brazilian coffee flavors.

Giving them 2 stars because there oil is a rip off. I bought my pens and usually get my oil from Berkeley. Even tho this place is down the street. I have tried to go many occasions but there is NEVER any parking. Finally I was driving down Bst and it was a park!!! I only need oil and I use 9mg. Which they where out of but he said he could make some. I used the oil and thought something was wrong with my pen because my oil was only lasting 1 day. Usually it lasts a week. So I tried another one. I have 3 pens. Same thing happen. Asked my husband for some of his oil (from Berkeley) and guess what? 5 days later my pen still has oil in it.
So my guess is they are doing something to the oil that makes it burn faster. Makes since because once you buy the pen they make $ from the oil. The faster it burns the more oil you will buy. I highly suggest once you get the pen but your oil else where.
Also I gave 2 star instead of 1 because I’m 18 months Newport Free! Highly recommend the e-​cig. Just not from this place.

Came here because of the variety of vape pen juices they have! all the flavors tasted good, my favorite is the Ube flavor. they had good customer service and helped me to taste the flavors i wanted to try out. i will def come back here again for more flavors.

This shop has great juice and wonderful service. They’re very friendly and welcoming, a lot better than most of the shops in Hayward. I’d recommend stopping by and trying some juice. There’s a nice atmosphere and some nice mods.
I love the variety of juices that they carry, Golden Gate Vapor is my go to brand, you should try it.

Kinda disappointed. I went out of my way to visit this shop expecting it to be similar to It Is Vapor 7 in San Jose. I realized very quickly that they operate completely separate from each other. Unlike the 7 store with massive authentic hardware, name brand juices, etc. This 5 shop does not have any sought after juice names but does have a ton of no name «house juices» which I’m always very nervous about. Plus, the Mod and RDA selections are weak, a few clones and nothing authentic from what I could see. The shop is also a Cannibus friendly shop which I feel conflicts with vapor. The other shops I visited locally in Hayward are a better choice to visit if you are a mod, RDA, cloud type enthusiast.

I used to come to this Vape shop a lot but ever since I found out that they added water to their juice I stopped. Every time I use Golden Gate Vape juices my coils burn out in one day. I won’t be going back until the quality improves.

I stopped in for my first time today and I thought the shop had a nice atmosphere as I first stepped inside. I was greeted by two guys, one of whom was helping a customer, and was immediately helped.
I just needed a new coil for my tank and the guy was super helpful, asking many questions about my pen and the volts I’m running. He eventually recommended me one that would provide good flavor and a satisfying amount of vapor.
He then began to inform me on how much it would cost to build my own pen, and he gave me one of the best prices around that I’ve heard

I came here to by my first vape. I tried those e-​cigs that you can find in gas stations but it didn’t really work more me. Not until I tried my cousin’s mechanical vape. I felt that the flavor and vapor is enough for me to try to quit smoking.
The employee recommended me a variable voltage as a first vape for a beginner. He set me up with some sample model and he let me try it. I told him it is still not the same feeling I felt from my cousin’s mechanical vape. He then guided me to get my first mod; body, battery, tank, etc. He even showed me how to set up the wick and wire on my mod.
I learned more about vape’ing when I was in V5 than me scouring the ‘net. The employees were really friendly they helped me a great deal. They have a lot of e-​cigs and also have an extensive line of juice. Now I have smoke free thanks to V5. They are definitely on my list for vapeing needs and juices.

I’ve been using a vape since the beginning of 2013. Obviously not a long time. I actually started with this store.
They have great prices, and great quality items. Their flavors are great and the 3 for $ 14.99 deal is awesome. The employers are very knowledgable and knows how to help each person with their vapor needs.
I would give five stars, but 4 out of the plenty times I’ve been here, I’ve had the same employer who’s given me the worst service.
He’s usually one of the reasons why I dislike returning and/​or is always hoping he isn’t there. He doesn’t sound like he enjoys the job, nor did he seem like he would be pleased to have me as a customer. Every time he is my retailer, I tend to want to just get what I came for and get out, rather than asking his suggestion if the option I chose was a good option to begin with.
Otherwise, everyone there is really friendly and loves to hold a conversation. I never feel rushed and they are always helpful with what I need.
I’d recommend this place to any of my friends who are looking into getting a vape.

I have to agree with the previous reviews stating that the e-​juice sold here is very thin causing premature cartomizer/​cartridge failure (burnt wicks & brown fluid).
I’ve purchased three different flavors (menthol, pear & USA) and used three different styles of cartomizers with the same results, very little flavor and burnt wicks after ~2ml.
Until they change juice suppliers or stop cutting the mix with water I would advise buying your juice online or spending $ 2 more a bottle and going to Vapor Den in Berkeley or SF.

I came in with my boyfriend and brother to check out their eJuice selection. The guys who work here are friendly, patient and knowledgeable.
Prices are really good compared to most places I’ve found.
We ended up with 3 flavors– Watermelon Chill (has menthol), Yellow Cow (banana + Red Bull) and Pina Colada for $ 16.
This will be my go to spot for vaping needs in the bay.

I have been vaping for almost 4 years now and have gone through countless brands, websites, vapor dens etc.
This place is really great. The staff are all very friendly. Even when they are packed solid with customers (which has been happening more and more… a good sign) they never make me feel rushed.
The equipment is top notch. I had a battery that died in under a year, but in my experience, sometimes sudden battery death just happens, no fault at all of the vendor.
The liquids are great. I have never understood the VG/​PG dealie and I love that I don’t have to worry about that here. All of their liquids are tuned to work perfectly with all of their equipment and I always get yummy taste with close to a bong rip volume of vapor.
This place WOULD be 5 stars… except for the Raider Hater. I am not a football fan, but I don’t understand that business decision.
Surely, a lot of their customers (& potential customers) are Raider fans. And most Raider fans are crazy loyal to their team.
My friend that introduced me to vaping is one.
She buys her bits and pieces off of another company’s, website to avoid going here… even though she enjoys their products.

All in all though, this is a great shop.
The staff is informative a takes their time with new people, while cutting to the chase and not wasting time lecturing veterans.
Oh… and Consistency is great here. I know that when I drop by to grab a couple of my favorite flavors quickly, they will either have it in stock or will offer to go mix it up for me.

I came in on a Sunday, a good amount of people were there. Probably around 10 – 15 and there were atleast 6 staff employees working.
Didnt have to wait long at all so kudos to them however the employee that helped me was really quick to sell and wasnt very informative at all since I am a first time vaper.
My suggestion is, if you are a first timer, dont rely on the staff to help you out. Bring a friend. I purchased a battery that I am not too pleased with and come to find out there are no returns.
so just an FYI, NO RETURNS. Bring someone who is knowledable and you should be fine!

Great place with great service! These guys knows they’re stuff. New to vaping? Don’t be afraid to ask questions these guys are informative and will give you an unbiased answer to whatever you’re asking. Don’t know whatsup with these negative reviews though.

Jeff and I went here to get some eJuice. The customer service was helpful. Upon entering the shop, there were A LOT of people lining up to check out what’s new and to taste different eJuices. We went here on my last weekend in the Bay and the boyfriend just got on this vape hype.
I liked their blueberry flavor but they ran out of that. So we ended up getting smurfberry and rockstar flavors, which the boyfriend wanted in SoCal but the place where he gets them at – always sell out on rockstar.
We’ll be back whenever I visit the Bay now.

Vapor 5 is pretty good. After I bought a full pen set up I found cheaper prices. The pen I got leaks occasionally and the guy told me that the manufacturer doesn’t tighten them enough so I had to take it apart and push certain parts tighter together. Kinda unfortunate but I guess it’s not their fault, just a heads up would’ve been nice.
They do have a LOT of vapor flavors, including ones that they make themselves. Right now i have Peach, Watermelon Bubblegum, and Lemon Blueberry :)

LOVE THIS PLACE! So much I had to write a little review…
Went there today for the first time and I’m extremely happy with the costumer service I received (very nice lady, can’t remember her name). I picked up a eGo kit with 2 mini designer batteries, 2 cartomizers, USB charger and 6 new yummy flavors of e-​liquid. I drove 45 minutes from vallejo and will make the trip many more times!!! Ü
If you haven’t checked this place out. You should! I’m glad I did!!!
