The burgers are ok at best. The ordering is slow, the cooking is slow even when it’s not busy. Sigh…

Burgers are alright, fries are awesome but the grilled cheese sandwiches are a huge letdown considering the price. Next time will stick to the burgers.

I’m giving this four stars only because I had to wait about 15 mins so that took a star off for me other than that… The only word I can think to describe the burgers is PERFECT the meat is so tender it crumbles but in a good way ! The fries are amazing! And they throw extra in the bag for you ! Try it now you’re missing out if you haven’t

Seems to be hit and miss depending on your location. I’ve been the the Five Guys in Redwood City, and their burger was on hit. Nicely cooked with a juicy patty, fresh ingredients and crispy bacon and fries. The location in Hayward — not so much. The burger didn’t taste that great for some reason. Greasy, overcooked fries, and messy place(at least that day). It’s a good place you like different toppings on your burger. For a classic burger with good taste, In and Out is the better value with faster service

Five Guys is a solid spot for a burger with more toppings than you could shake a stick at. The meat taste fresh and while the patties are fairly thin, they’re reminiscent of a homemade burger your Grandma would wipp up… I’m not a fan of the crumbled bacon they use. Can i get a full strip? The fries are solid and possibly the best when compared to similar establishments. The place has decent service. Nothing is presented on an Eat In tray; it’s all bagged as To Go. I think that should be changed. The lobby floor stays dirty and the trash cans full. They really need to work on the esthetic nature, but surely it’s difficult when you have people throwing peanut casings about. Overall it’s worth trying and you’ll leave satisfied.

I will give you 3 stars just because the food still good as always but not your customer service, prices and the store is too dirty. Me and my wife came in to the store for lunch today Sunday around 2 pm and there were only one table with 2 customers and all the floors were totally dirty with food left overs, paper bags, napkins, etc. No even one employee was there when we open the door so we decided to go to the restrooms when we come out from there stills no one in to make our order no even the cookers so have to wait, when finally someone came from the back he tell us «some one will be with you in one second«after five minutes somebody came to us take the order and we didn’t receive an apology for the waiting. We decided to eat there because we had more shopping to do later so I have to clean the table with some napkins which a I have to ask for because the dispenser was empty. So we stay there eating and chatting for about 45 minutes and no one came to the front to clean up and when I decide to take some pictures one of the guys saw me and send out a lady with a broom and a towel.(to late body)

The guy was obviously not paying attention because it was so dead and loud that he fucked up my order but the cook did not hesitate to make me a new one. I’m happy.

Phone order? I know better next time. I think the radio is too loud in the background. After saying what I wanted over and over again I finally had to pretty much yell what I wanted to be on the same page with the guy taking my order. Pretty irritating. Food is always good. Service is pretty much standard. I do think they’re understaffed based upon the other times I’ve been in. Not just for food service but keeping up on the cleanliness of the seating & beverage areas. But for sure! Don’t bother making a phone order if you’re calling from a place where you can’t yell.

They screwed up my order so completely and my wife’s burger tasted funny to the point that she couldn’t finish it. I am always courteous and pleasant to people making my food cuz I’m not a jerk, and I don’t want special sauce in my food. I would have let this slide but I ended up getting my wife crappy food. The most I will do is not go to this place anymore.

Service was on par with other locations I have visited. Location and street parking were good. I wish they had BOTH doors unlocked for the people closer to the street… But the foooood…(simpson droooool)

I only come here once in a while but when I do I really enjoy coming here. Customer service is tiptop and the quality of the food is superb. There are ample choices to custom tailor your burger and serving sizes are big. They keep the place clean and presentable throughout the day. You will pay a pretty penny to eat here but in my opinion it is worth it.

Oh dear! As a Five Guys fan for decades, in Alexandria Virginia and now around the country, I am sorry to award this location last prize. The service was slow and indifferent and the premises sloppy and shabby. Suggest that a new manager be found. In the meanwhile, find another location.

Sigh. I came here on my lunch break to get a burger and some fries. I love Five Guys, so this review isn’t negative because of the quality of their food. It was fine and on par with other Five Guys that I’ve had before. However, the service was SO slow, it took me around 35 minutes to get my food after I ordered it! It was ridiculous. There were only 3 employees working all the roles and it clearly wasn’t enough. It seems like a lot of people were there on their lunch break as well and it was clear that everyone was getting impatient. A lot of people going up to the counter to correct something wrong on their orders. Five Guys is great, but this location needs to work some things out with their management.

Five guys makes a pretty mean burger with a large patty and many customization options. On top of free peanuts, the restaurant is a nice, albeit quiet establishment. Food: The burgers are pretty delicious, and with free toppings, the burger can get pretty big very fast. The Cajun Fries are also delicious. The portions for the fries are very generous, as a medium serving fills a cup and some left over in the bag. Service: Like many fast food establishments, the food is ordered and then eaten in the restaurant or as take-out. The place looks to be a bit understaffed, as there were only around 3 – 4 people working when I was there. Ambience: The place was near empty when I ate at the restaurant. The place has an In-N-Out feel without the crowds of people. The place could be cleaner, however, as there are peanut shells littering the floor(a consequence of free peanuts). Overall, this is a good place to stop by for burgers, as they are reasonably priced and fairly delicious. The Cajun fries are also a good item to eat with the burger.

First time here, been meaning to try this place. They put all the toppings on your burger for you, which is different. I got a regular burger and medium fries. 2 patties on the burger, and it was really good. My ‘medium’ fries was a lot of fries, and they were very good also, definitely will come here again. Better than In & Out Burger to me!

Four Warrior’s fans. Dining on food from Five Guys. Getting four stars. As you see, I’m a numbers guy. Tired of eating the usual fast food spots around Oracle, I was happy when our friends suggested ordering our pregame meal from here. After a quick study the night before, I decided on trying a burger and a hot dog instead of the usual pairing with fries. My friend who is familiar with their secret menu steered me in selecting a little patty melt, all-the-way, hold the mayo( ). The difference is that the bread is grilled on both sides; also, FYI, all-the-way = lettuce, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, ketchup, mustard, and mayo. The little burger has one meat patty while the regular one has two. I also ordered a cheese dog with grilled peppers and onions with A-1 sauce( ); odd combination, you might think but it worked as my post game meal! What impresses me is that have eighteen toppings, not including extra meat patty or extra cheese, which literally allows you to customize your burger or hot dog. This brings TRUE meaning to the old Burger King catch phrase, «Have it your way!» Wish there was one a bit closer to home for me than Daly City, but, hey, I have another option for pre-Warriors game meals now. Thumbs up for this one!

If you’re looking for a burger fix but NOT on a budget, this is one of the better places to go when you’re in the San Lorenzo-Hayward area. The place is generally clean and parking is never a problem. The burger portion is huge with all the free toppings, and a serving of medium fries(tip:get the Cajun fries!) is good for two. Don’t forget the Heinz malt vinegar by the ketchup dispenser! They serve hotdogs too and are just as flavorful and filling as the burgers. The tasty peanuts are free. Just grab a cardboard cup tight on the peanut box and shovel away. But beware though, some hobos tend to come in grab some free peanuts. What’s new on the menu is their awesome hand-churned milkshake. You get to choose up to three fixings(at least that’s what the cashier told me). The chocolate, Oreo pieces and coffee was perfect… but was expensive. Almost $ 5.00 for a 16 ounce cup. If you’re sick of In-N-Out, this is a great alternative. make sure to get there before 10PM. Five stars for the taste. Minus one star for the price, and the occasional homeless person that comes in.

Again, there are two different experiences packed in the same bag. The cheeseburger I ordered with jalapenos, hot sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion was delicious. However, consistency is key. The other burger I ordered was the little cheeseburger. Suddenly, the patty disappeared! Apparently with the little cheeseburger it not only comes with just one patty(which would be fine) but it also has to have a giant gap in the middle of its flattened, sad little self. Literally just air in the middle, like someone forgot to put in a cream filling. As my wife put it, it tasted«like sadness.» Sad, because I actually like 5 Guys. I don’t know that they would do anything about this if I came to them though, I haven’t yet experienced them in a customer service context.

I don’t like to eat burgers very often but the burgers at five guys really are delicious, especially the overflowing fries in a cup! When you order the cajun fries they kind of leave a weird after taste in your mouth because of how strong the flavor is but it’s still pretty good! As for the service, it was quick & friendly. Definitely worth coming back to!

This place is still heaven for me. Juicy burgers and perfectly seasoned fries overflowing my cup, ohhhh yeaaahhhh… Just needs a tune-up when it comes to cleaning the dining area and it’d be perfect!
