Fairway Park Optometry Center

I have been coming here over a year now and very disappointed in this office. I spent a good amount of money on my progressive lenses back in 2015 and was told a bullet could hit my lenses and it wouldn’t get damaged, lies!!! I had the lenses replaced 3 times because thy kept cracking! I went in for my yearly eye exam this January 2016 with Dr. Daza, she is very nice!
Problem with this place is the turn around time for glasses is SO long!!! It takes at lease 15+ days to get a regular pair of glasses because they are sent off to who knows where!!!
Arturo wanted to «do right» and get my back up progressive lenses fixed for me, which wasn’t necessary because I would just be using those to garden, but a nice gesture. Well, about a month has rolled by I have had NO updates on my glasses and NO call for pick up! I called this morning and what do you know, they «just arrived» this morning! REALLY!!! I seems to me they just «wait for your phone call», then they say Oh yeah, they are here.
I actually hung up on them today because I was SO frustrated that my glasses were there and nobody called me to pick them up. Haha, Did they call me back? NOPE!!! In my honest option, that is poor customer service!
With me being a manager for 10+ years, my priority would be to call that person back and apologize for the inconvenience and make it right with them. They just don’t care!!!
I WILL NOT be returning to this office…

I just had my first appointment at Fairway Park Optometry Center, and it was fantastic. First, I called to schedule an appointment and was seeing the doctor two hours later that same day. Awesome. I first worked with Arturo and he was wonderfully knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I then had my routine exam with Dr. Daza and she was excellent. Informative, open, honest, pleasant, efficient: pretty much everything I want from a routine eye exam. But here’s where it gets really good: my appointment was running a bit long and we were getting into time constraints, so Dr. Daza offered to postpone the dilation and finish it at a later date. Cool, right? But then when I go back out to try on glasses, Arturo is back and he already knew about my time constraints — some effective communication in this office. But he very efficiently and effectively laid out all my options for all kinds of different price points for all kinds of different glasses options, clearly laying out the best options with my insurance, what i could get from a third party, what i should pay for, what i don’t need: basically i felt he was truly trying to help me, not just up-​sell the product they carry there. (Side note — they got some solid options).
Ok, we’re getting into TL: DR zone here, so i’ll sum it up. Arturo and Dr. Daza made me feel safe, comfortable, and appreciated. I felt like I could talk to them openly and was heard. It was only one visit, but it was a sensational one. I will be back for the foreseeable future and will recommend them to anybody lookin for an eye doctor.

This review is for rude receptionist, $ 25 stupid cancellation fee (tired of waiting I asked that I don’t want to get eye exam), and making you wait forever. They process one patient at a time — making others wait forever. Wont ever come here again.

Just got back from my appointment and saw Dr. Daza. She was very sweet and informative and was able to answer all my questions and really took the time to understand what I do and gave me some really great recommendations!
The front office staff was so sweet and friendly and I immediately felt comfortable, especially when it came to buying my lenses. I am pretty picky and they gave me their honest opinion and picked out some great lenses for me too!
The location was great, around a lot of stores and plenty of parking!

Wow I must say this office is hands down better than Dr pope’s office.
They were able to get my daughter in the following day after Dr Pope’s staff turned my 7 year old away due to being 10 min late even after keeping them updated on traffic amd parkng issues. My daughter had a bad right eye but i should thank that office for being non compassionate towards my girl or else I wouldn’t have stepped foot in this amazing office.
They are so professional, sweet and funny. I’m so glad I found them. I’m def going to refer my family friends and patients to them.

Terrible service. Have been trying to order new lenses (was seen here 5 months ago and have run out) for a month now, but the staff answering the phone keeps putting me on hold and hanging up/​telling me they’ll call me back or they just don’t answer the phone.
The optometrist who saw me 5 months ago was great however. She listened to my issues withmy current contact lenses and recommended a great new replacement. If only the staff at the front desk could do their job.

Try to find another Optometry Center.

Been coming here ever since i was told i needed glasses. The staff is extremely sweet, genuinely kind. Juana, Arturo, etc they always answer any question or try to meet halfway with any question you have. HIGHLY recommend!

It is a real pleasure to have an eye doctor where each part of the experience is professional.
Dr. Madlangbayan is amazing. Her equipment is up to date and very clean. She explains each part of the process. She is friendly and welcoming, and I never feel rushed.
Arturo is also very easy to work with as well as the rest of the office stay.

The staff is completely amazing (Arturo, Juana, Dr. Madlangbayan)! Everyone is very informative and have such high impressive verbal skills. The Doctor is very knowledgeable and efficient with her exams. I didn’t have to wait a long time. They had a fairly small amount of frames to choose from but a very good small brand selection (to make things much easier to choose from in my opinion) The office is very clean and neat. Overall, its been a pleasure being one of their clients for the past 2 – 3 years. I recommend everyone to go here, I promise you wont be let down.

This review is only on the eyeglass service. I didn’t see the doctors but only had my eyeglasses filled. I dealt with multiple people, but ultimately the person who saved my impression with the company is Arturo. He is knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. Go to him if you have any problems with your fulfillment. Long story short, I was not happy with the lab that VSP forced them to use and my lens were too thick. Arturo stood by his product and was able to give me some options to make me happy. Customer service is everything and Arturo had great customer service skills.

I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment with this office for over 4 months for a simple contact lens trial. They charged my insurance for the eye exam already, but the doctor is only in on Tuesday to Thursday and resulting in constant rescheduling. The staff knows this and schedules me for Friday, and then cancels the day before, after I’ve already taken the day off work.
I wish my job only required me to show up on Tuesday to Thursday from 930 – 4.

Dr Daza is the best! The entire team makes you feel at ease. I am happy to have them in my neighborhood.

Update 8÷28÷14: After the disaster of having my eyeglasses delayed and then not done correctly, I managed to get another pair of glasses really quickly and they are great. Arturo worked with me and ordered the glasses to be done at a lab in the east; they usually have the lenses done there and then finish them at a lab nearby. Arturo is great to work with, and I plan to return to have my eye exams here, but I will have the glasses made elsewhere.
Since I wrote my previous review, I finally got my glasses after 6 weeks, but found that a «slab off» had been added (to correct double vision) and I can’t see properly with them. I hadn’t been told this would be done, and I question whether it was done properly. I will ask for a new prescription and hope that I can be reimbursed for the $ 400+ that I paid and will take them to another optical laboratory.

I have been seen here several times. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and very helpful with any questions or concerns you may have. I have recommended them to many of my friends and family who are also very happy with their excellent service. If you wear glasses like I do, you will love the great selection of frames they have to choose from!

We always get a thorough eye exam, not just a quick check. We have always been happy with our service and feel like family when we walk in. They really take their time in helping to make sure you pick out glasses you are happy with. So if you are looking to be treated like family and get good service this is a great place to go.

Staff is really nice. Arturo is awesome at what he does. He has great customer service skills and his phone manner is impressive.
However, I think they only have one Optometrist because my son had his apt at 4:45pm and they didn’t end up leaving the office until almost 7pm. I recall that last year when he went to his apt we waited for a very long time too.
If you have time to waste then by all means come here, otherwise I would suggest trying somewhere else. I am giving him 2 stars.

Dr. Daza was very thorough with my eye examination. I told her I’ve been having frequent painful migraines as of late, and she did all the possible tests on me. From regular eyeglasses, I now have progressive transition trifocals. I’ve been wearing the new pair for four days now. No more migraines. I’m happy that my migraines are gone, but I so wish they have more frames to choose from, and that the transition tints have darker shades. Anyways, this place treats every patient well. They’re good and thorough. Thanks to their friendly staff, too. They’re awesome!

I am writing this review while sitting in the dark in my living room, wearing sunglasses, because I couldn’t wait any long to write this review and my eyes are still dilated.

I just got back from my first appointment with Dr. Donna Madlangbayan and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from the whole staff. Dr. Madlangbayan was cheerful, informative, and made me forget that I was up at 8:15am on the first day of my two week vacation. THe front office staff were really helpful and made me feel really comfortable for a first visit.
Arturo reassured me when I felt bad that I couldn’t finish my paperwork (I was dilated and couldn’t read a thing) that it was no problem and we could finish it next time. Juana picked the perfect pair of glasses for me on the first try, and I ended up going with them after trying on multiple pairs of my own choosing!
I was out the door in about an hour, and should have my glasses in a few weeks (it will take a bit longer because of the holidays). They also will clean and tighten up your glasses any time you stop by, no charge. This applies to any glasses as well, it seems, because they did my current pair today while I got fitted for new frames!
Bottom line: So much better than anywhere else I’ve been. I’ll undoubtedly be back, and often!
