Blue Diamond Smog Check

Chau and John have been servicing all three of our cars for two years. If you ever wish you had a friend who could work on your car, one that wants to save you as much money as possible while still doing a great job, then these are your guys. As a woman, I appreciate that they have always treated me with respect-​no lies, no talking down, no inflated charges, etc.
They could have made a lot more money on us. I got an estimate for work that needed to be done so my Miata could pass smog and it was $ 230. They replaced a tube and charged me $ 70 (and it passed smog no prob). They’ve continued to tell us the truth about necessary vs. unnecessary repairs. We trust them more than any other mechanics we’ve ever been to.
They always get our cars out the same day and have always been kind and helpful. Not sure why people are saying they’re overpriced at $ 85 an hour for labor vs. $ 110 average SF mechanics.

Overpriced to start with. not to mention he didnt even complete visual inspection until AFTER he had passed the car. When I mentioned this to Chau he became very rude and just kept telling me I can «say whatever I want». What a ridiculous way to treat customers. There are hundreds of smog shops in the area. do yourself a favor and stay away from this one. 1 star because I cant give it a 0.

Fast and friendly, but WAY over priced

This place is about one block from where I work. I friend of mine recommended them. They got me in immediately, without an appointment, did the inspection while I waited. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. They even gave me a $ 10 discount because I was referred. If you are in the Industrial/​Depot Road area of Hayward check them out.

The name changed but still best service. Need that smog check this is the place. No more need to be said fast friendly service.

Smog Check was due by Monday and it’s Friday at 1PM. I needed to get this done and I previously came to this location when it was known as Accurate Smog Check Test Only Station about a year ago according to the tech. The business was pretty much the same as it was except for the tech working. I pulled right up to the garage where two chihuahuas gave a healthy «ruff» to let the techs know somebody pulled up the garage. I asked the tech about a smog check and he had me pull right in. Paperwork, Smog Test, 15 minutes later and I was out the door.
Tech is friendly — dogs are nice guard dogs. Seating is comfortable for a garage and has plenty if there is a wait. Magazines and a stereo going. I would bring other material in case you had to wait but for today I needed nothing.
I will be back for future smog checks for all my cars.
