I purchased a Kenwood touch screen with NAV, to go in my wife’s 2010 F150. Looked like an easy install. Turns out the guy who installed the last radio did a hatchet job on pretty much all the wiring harnesses. What Mathew thought would be a 2 hour installation turned into the better part of 10 hours over 2 days. Because Mathew would not let substandard work leave the shop he fixed every Janky splice and connection. He put the truck back what it should have been.
The amazing thing was he kept his labor quote the same (2 hours) even though I was willing to pay more.
My wife could not be happier with the system !!
I definitely recommend Autohaus and make sure you see Matt.

I recently had a sunroof installed in my 2014 Hyundai Veloster. I don’t know the name of the person (s) who installed it, but they did an outstanding job. Completely professional work. The sunroof looks like it came with the car. It looks way better and has more options then I imagined. Thank you!!!

They did a number of alarm installs for my work. There was a problem with the horn once the van started. I called the vendor who hired them and they in turn called me back later that day and scheduled their man Dan to meet me to fix it. Really friendly, he diagnosed the problem, explained to me what he thought caused it, and it all took 45 minutes from start to finish, with no charge since we just received the vehicle. Great job by their staff.

Awesome! Needed some replacement parts for my power windows and have since moved to another state. Matthew’s communication was stellar — updating me throughout the entire process on when/​where the parts were arriving.

Great service! Matthew followed up with me when my rear camera was not available in the market yet. Contacted me and ordered it right away when it became available. Was able to install in 1 week. Very happy customer with such professional service.

Autohaus did a great job with my RV stereo/​navigation system. My RV dealer replaced my system with an inexpensive unit and was not able to get all the features working… no navigation, no connect to the DVD in the coach, back-​up and side camera didn’t work, bad radio reception. After much angst, the dealer finally agreed to allow me to take the RV to a local car stereo specialist. I shopped around and finally decided to call AutoHaus, even though I was a bit concerned after reading a few of the bad Unilocal reviews.
I met with Matt and explained all the issues. He checked out the replacement system and said it was not fully compatible with the features that the original system provided. He recommended a Kenwood system. We negotiated a good price and were able to schedule the installation the next day.
When we arrived for the service, Matt promptly got things set up and said he’d call us for pick-​up in 4 – 5 hours. The RV was ready as promised.
Not only did he take the time to demonstrate all of the features, he even set up the bluetooth for both of our phones and customized a few of the settings to my preferences.
I highly recommend AutoHaus and want to Thank Matt for the great service. He was polite, did his research and delivered as promised. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I dropped off my truck at 10:30am with an appointment and called about my truck to see if it was ready. Turns out the person who had the answer was busy and I left my number to get a call back for the pick up time. Never got a call. I showed up and it wasn’t even ready. I am in the parking lot pissed waiting because it will be 30min more until its ready and its already 1:25pm. Last time I ever come to this place. WARNING DON’T BRING UR CARS TO THIS PLACE. They don’t even have my truck here at this shop. They sent it elsewhere.
You will be waiting all day when other places get it done within two hours.
I had an appointment and it didn’t make a different. Threw off my whole day with my kids.
Its 1:35 and still waiting.
Its 1:45pm and my truck just pulled up.
It has tiny little bubbles. Hopefully it doesn’t come off slowly.

Don’t go there. 9 months later & OVER $ 1500.00, I still don’t have my car stereo fixed. The same damn problem has returned. I call and now he says he don’t know what it could be and he is going to have to talk with his technician. Feels like all they wanted was my money. They first replaced the speakers, $$$$, then the amp, $$$$$, then they sold me an Alpine to replace my awesome Bose system, $$$$…problem still not fix. They put the factory amp back in and sent out the factory radio to be fixed to re-​install $$$$$$…re-​installed everything and then last week I go over a bump and the same damn crackle and static in the rear speakers has re-​returned.
In addition with all non-​factory stuff they had put in but later took out my system may not be covered by my insurance any longer.

What an awesome place to get your ride pimped. went there got a royal treatment and a discount without even asking for it… referred all my friends and a place to go for everything that has to do with after market for cars… see matt or Richard they are very top notch pros and will treat you right!!!

I had a power window installed twice in four years. It has failed twice! No discount offered for the second replacement! Customer service was awful. The rep I talked to was condescending and was trying to place some sort of blame on me. He was acting like his shop is God and can do no wrong. Would not recommend to anyone. Ever!

Wow! I must say, I am pretty impressed with this place. I was referred to Autohaus by the dealer I purchased my car from. I recently had a system installed, which had been giving my a few problems. I went to a couple of other car audio shops and no one could diagnose the problem. After being referred, I came by and explained the ongoing issue and the installation manager, Matt made it his obligation to assure that I was a satisfied customer. Althouh it took a while to resolve the problem, Matt was sure to keep me abreast on the progress of the work being done, which displayed great customer service. Cudos to Matt and the Autohaus staff! Thanks guys!

Ok so to start had my sirius installed here the other day and i an not happy… but don’t get to Unilocaling me back Matt lemme finish, the Autohaus crew hooked me up took me in straight away and didn’t have to wait allday on my load (car) MY unhappiness has to do with the dealer who sold me the car without the features he promised the install was grade A and the people there were the bomb and very professional (shout out to Richard thanx again) and the dealer is still working to correct the issues, that review will be forthcoming but autohaus gets a plus in my book… especially the cutie in the office, thanx again guys

I have known about this shop for 25 years and never had the opportunity to used them. I needed an audio conversion on my 2003 Infiniti G35 because my stereo/​AC stopped functioning. They helped me determine what fit my budget, scheduled an appointment and then made sure i understood everything i was getting.
The QA inspecting my car when i brought it in and closing me out when finished was all pro. they seem honest and i have to highly recommend them.

Had to go back to re-​do stuff 3 times, and some of it is still not working. Meanwhile one of my inside lights got disconnected and so the light does not go on when doors open. Customer service sucks. The guy, Matt, never calls back, and when I do get a hold of him, he is not willing to accommodate.
Went to another shop today and got it all fixed.

I’ve been to this place years back and was impressed with the recent re-​modeling of the shop.
Anyways, I had a Prestige alarm installed on my truck years back from another shop and one of my remotes broke and the other I lost. I was able to find the original box to get a model number so I called all the car alarm installation shops I could find from Oakland to SF to the Penninsula; nobody had a replacement remote. The one place that had it said they would have to order it and it would cost $ 120 for the remote and $ 20 to program it. Luckily I called Matt at Autohaus; he quoted me over the phone for half that price which included programming. I went to the shop right before closing and Matt was able to get everything working in about 5 minutes. Great service and good peoples from my experience.

Just bought a new car and the kids wanted a DVD player like our last car. No way was I paying the inflated dealer prices for less features. We planned a last minute trip to Disneyland and Autohaus was able to order the special system I wanted and install it AT MY OFFICE with only 2 days of notice. The entertainment system Manny recommended was all that we wanted and more. Headrest Monitors with individual DVD players that can work independent from each other or sync up together. The audio plays throughout the car, or just on their headphones. Awesome!
As I said, they installed this system at my office around my busy schedule. The install was quick, clean and very professional. The installer was nice and knowledgeable and was able to give me a thorough tutorial.
Awesome work Autohaus. I think a few of my employees will be calling you soon!

BEST PLACE IN THE BAY AREA!
I have been using Autohaus for about 7 years now and they have always done a excellent job. I have gone to other places around the area to have work done to my vehicles and have been terribly unimpressed in the work. YES is place is expensive but the customer service and the clean installs are worth the price all day! I have had all types of vehicles worked on here from a tacoma, boat and an escalade and felt safe leaving my vehicles over night to be worked on. They always stored my vehicle inside and behind a gate at night. (witch means a lot to me) They do almost everything there from small radio installs to tint, leather seats to custom installs. I would recommend all day! They are the best, I would not go anywhere else!

It’s sad this place has a 3 star rating just because people CALLED in and did not have any actual work done. I wish Unilocal would seriously review others’ reviews and judge if their rating has any validity and filter them.
Ok, now that I’ve beaten the dead horse, I can praise this shop for their friendly, professional, and speedy service. I got my power door locks and windows done here. They did a FABULOUS JOB!!! It really looks GREAT!
First, I did call in before dropping off my car because I wanted to make sure I would get it back before labor day weekend (have a visitor coming in from out of town and my car will be used as the sole transportation between activities) I dropped it off on a Monday, got a call Tuesday saying they are still working on it and I will definitely have it back by Wednesday, which is much faster than I had anticipated :)
I am very impressed by this shop’s work. If I need extra custom work, this place is the first place I’ll go to.

I found this place from the good ratings on Unilocal and hoped to get my sunroof fixed that doesn’t close correctly.
When I did call I was transferred 4 times when I was simply attempting to make a silly appointment for them to see me. I just gave up after the 4^th transfer.
It seems like no one knows what they’re doing or who is supposed to schedule the appointments!
