Great experience. Rob is an excellent guide, the scenery is gorgeous, the horses are in fine shape and the ride is interesting. The horses are obedient without being plodding. The only down side is that some of the trails (on federal land) are getting fairly eroded and detours will soon be necessary in spots. We’ve ridden with a lot of stables across the country and this was one of the most fun anywhere. Uphill, downhill, streams, waterfalls and the occasional mud hole kept this ride engaging. It’s laid back enough to enjoy but safety is still important.

Rob is a fantastic guide. The horseback riding is through trails in the Nantahala National forest with creeks, waterfalls and gorgeous mountain scenery. The horses are extremely well behaved and friendly. Greeting you at the barn is Tootsie (red kitty) Levy (Australian Sheppard) and Lucy (Brittany Spaniel). Lucy and Levy come along for the ride and make it even more fun. Definitely ride here if in the Murphy/​Frankin/​Hayesville area!

Great horseback riding!!! The horses are all very well behaved and beautiful. We just did the short trail leaving from the barn and it was great. The best part was the dogs, Levi and Lucy, who came along the trail with us. I definitely recommend the stables for a great day trip!
