Y2Eggs on the Run

Wanted to try a burger. Work hired them as a last minute replacement so they weren’t fully stocked. I asked what they would recommend. The kind lady said the Gunnar Burrito is good. It’s like a breakfast burrito.
The potatoes were nice. The cheese made it very delicious. Could have used some spicy in it, but they have some bottles of hot sauce and other condiments.

People are very very friendly and nice! However, I work where food trucks frequent, and unfortunately this one just didn’t stand out too much as far as food selection and quality. All very basic things you could make on your own. However, the food was still good, and the people were friendly. Slightly pricey given the quality and the food you get.

OK, the name suggests eggs would be the thing here.

They had a BBQ Chicken Salad as a lunch special ans since I wasn’t in the mood for eggs, I tried it.
Well as you can see from the rating, I thought it was a good salad, even after I drive back to the office with it covered up. The grilled chicken with spicy BBQ sauce is complimented here wit lettuce, broccoli, corn, bell peppers, avocado (optional), and a delightfully spicy dressing that I can only describe as orange, spicy and tasty. Nothing overdone, nice portion, not too big.
Who knew, a salad from an egg truck. Why not, I’ve seen stranger!

Great concept! I love eggs.
People are friendly, I’ll give you that. I had The Gunner burrito with added avo. I could taste the processed cheese and we didn’t see avocado until the last two bites. Nothing worse than stinginess and less than good quality.
If I was a few years younger and drinking, this would have been a good choice.

If you want to go to heaven, order the Alice Pack made of Country-​Style Potatoes, Scrambled with eggs, cream cheese and homemade green tomatillo salsa. My husband and I shared one at the Green Prize Festival at Bixby Park, Long Beach on Sat. It was so delicious I had to go back and get another one. Pop for the extra avocado on top. Yum!!!

I’m always excited to walk outside my office at the hospital to see what food truck has come to greet us when I conveniently forget my lunch often times. I must say it was a pleasant surprise to see a new truck and even more pleasant to see a truck that truly supports and is run by Veterans.
I had the «Gunner» burrito and it was pretty tasty. It is turkey sausage, eggs (of course), potatoes, cheese and some spicy, chipotle type sauce. The potatoes are a little crispy, which was a nice touch of texture and added some flavor. I added avocado to tailor it to me extra fat craving and it was mucho bueno. The burrito itself isn’t huge, but it is nice and filling without feeling super chubby afterwards.
They have a bunch of other militarily named dishes that all looked really great. I will definitely look out for this truck to see when it’s around again and I might even look at the schedule they send out to us but I really hate those emails… what to do… I guess I will look at it it’s worth it for this truck. Plus I have to try the «Devil Dog» sliders having been in the Marines.
Really nice people running this truck and service is pretty quick. It’s easy to support this truck because the food is good, it’s family owned and operated, and I believe the owner is a war Veteran. Hoorah!

Gunner Burrito! The turkey and spicy sauce are fantastic. I added avocado. They had the option to add bacon, and believe it or not it was awesome without. They were at the wiseburn Foodfest in March. Hope they come back soon.

This food truck came to the the Hollywood Production Center on Gower and blew me away. For $ 7 I got the best turkey burger I’ve ever had. I actually thought I was getting a beef burger and for a moment was upset. But after I tasted, it was love at first bite!
Seasoned to perfection with a fresh and tasty bun along with secret sauce and fresh veggies. I will eat here anytime they come to my offices.
Nicest people ever and the owner is a war vet… So there you go! They take CC but charge .50 cents if the order is under 10 which is annoying but luckily I had cash.
