Why this lil corner donut place deserves 5 stars? They make the best glazed slightly larger than other places donut holes. Their donut holes are only 12 for $ 1!!! 12 joyful happy moments in your mouth for $ 1. Other places charge over a $ 1. I believe donut holes should always be a doz a $ 1. Can we make this into law? hehehe! I had to order 10 Dozen donut holes for my work and that is 120 donut holes for $ 10 only. I placed my order the day before and asked if they can add sprinkles. I even offered they can charge me extra but they didn’t. I only paid $ 10. When I brought them into the office, they all cheered. So if you wanna be a superstar at work and only want to spend a few bucks, consider getting donut holes from here. I was reading other Unilocaler’s review about them making fun of their bullet proof front, I say good job for the owners to get extra protection. They wouldn’t have gotten it if they didn’t need it for protection. Also don’t mind the homeless guy who always hangouts around the corner. He is harmless so far. He doesn’t even ask you for money. He just chills there.

I grew up around in this neighborhood and still come here all the time, so I was just a teensy bit surprised when I came in here for the first time to see that the entire operation is behind bulletproof glass. Although now that I say that, so is the liquor store and Dominos down the street so maybe this area is way more ghetto than I thought. I mean I always say it’s hood light, but maybe these are signs that it needs an ungrade. On the other hand, if you live near here you know residents are unlikely to be robbed, murdered, etc., so maybe it’s sadly just businesses that have to watch their back. Anyway, yes the lady behind the counter is behind glass, but it doesn’t make interacting with her any less difficult and she is very nice too. The donuts were surprisingly fresh when I went in the late afternoon and I thought the texture was perfect. The taste could be improved on, just cause there was this very subtle aftertaste on all the donuts. I wonder if it’s the sugar they are using. The prices are right, they have an A, and they even make Boba drinks. Not a bad place to go when you want a little sweetness.

You can tell that this is a neighborhood spot due to the fact that everything is bulletproof between the cashier and customer. I guess she has been through it all and she stays prepared. The donuts itself were alright but I surely have had felt awkward being handed coffee and creamer through bulletproof glass. I gotta knock on bulletproof glass to get the damn sugar. I had to look behind me to make sure no heavily armed thugs were entering. Why in the hell does she get protected when i have to suffer the consequence if I were ever caught in a quagmire? lol. I would rather go to a place that treats customers like humans instead of prison inmates. For a second I almost thought I had to pick up a phone to speak through the prison glass. smh

I just had to review this little staple. A good chunk of my childhood pocket change was spent here. The employees are always nice even with management changes and before I moved, being a frequent buyer, they always greeted me very warmly. The donuts are very good(my faves being glazed and custard filled) and so are their croissants and coffee. Very good for a quick bite. I really miss this place and might stop by again. Only downside is that I felt like prices changed too much. When I was a kid it was 3 donuts for $ 1. Then it was 2 for $ 1. Now I think its .65 each unless they raised it since I moved and that depends on which donut you get.

Came here to pick up some goodies for work and for a dozen it was $ 6.25. I saw the prices ranging from 60 cents to a buck. The inside is crammed with random items, ranging from starbursts to insurance information. The donuts were light like air and didn’t leave big grease stains inside the box. Although this place isn’t unique like the Voodoo donuts shop in Portland it has a nice selection of the general donuts.
