Supernova Moving

I can’t say enough about Supernova storage, these guys are fantastic! They are prompt, courteous and organized. Everything was handled with the utmost of care. Steven and the guys were all very professional. They have a great work ethic and positive attitude which helped reduce the stress of moving twice in one month. All the furniture was well protected, wrapped and loaded carefully. Our furniture was set up and placed right where we wanted it. Steven provided an estimate and it was right on the money. After the move we received a lovely fruit basket for our new home. Class act all the way! Definitely will use them agian and highly recommend!

I found Supernova through Unilocal.I had 3 quotes from different moving companies– one was way off in terms of price the other was kinda sketchy with added fees for tape and shrink wrap. Steve did the in home assessment and gave me a fixed rate which was beyond fair. Really, he was just the nicest guy and very straightforward about how the pricing worked. The day before moving I was called to see if I could accommodate an early start (any movers dream, lol) and of course I said yes. Steve called ahead the morning of and arrived right on time. They moved me from a 3 bed 2 bath apartment to my smaller 2 bed 1 bath apartment in 3.5 hours. This includes breaking down and reassembling furniture. My foreman was Macho. He was professional, asked the right questions, inspected the furniture like 40 times for any assembly issues, and made sure I was happy every step of the way. I mean, above and beyond amazing costumer service. These guys work FAST and in cohesion like a swarm of bees. They added 2 extra workers to the job to get it done faster, so it was a total of 5 men. Everything was wrapped beautifully even though I was moving only like 5 blocks to the right. They rolled out a carpet to protect the floors. Steve even reassembled my table better than it was before it was taken apart because I pointed out my ex did a pretty poor job assembling it the first time, lol. At the end they handed me a gift for my new home, which I thought was a sweet gesture. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience with Supernova (great logo btw). A perfect move and terrific experience (well, as far as moving goes, lol). Thanks again guys!

A first-​rate operation all around. Steven and his crew were polite, helpful and extremely careful with all my belongings. Nice to meet an owner who is honest and will work out the most economical rate for you — be it by the hour or a flat rate. Even when I made a last minute change to a busy Memorial Day Friday, there was no increase in cost. Recommend without reservation.

Type of Move: 2^nd Floor apartment to house.
I chose Supernova Moving because they were by far the most reasonably priced with their over the phone estimate. Steven came for the in home estimate and was able to include more than I expected.
The day before the move I was asked if I could change my start time, which was not an issue for me.
Steven and his crew showed up and were extremely polite and professional. They took good care of my furniture and even were able to grab more than we originally discussed.
They unpacked just as quickly placing all of my furniture where I needed it, even helping me move some couches that were already in the house.
I could not have asked for an easier move!
I would recommend them to anyone who needs movers!

I have moved many times, both on my own and through corporate relocation. On my last move I used Supernova. It was a really great experience! Steven and the rest of the team are VERY professional and efficient. While at first I was a bit wary of an estimate based on «per hour» charge, everyone on the team worked very hard, taking only occasional short breaks. Steven knows the business well, and his estimate turned out to be very accurate.
All the furniture was carefully wrapped and then unwrapped at the destination. Supernova does not try to nickel-​n-​dime you for tape, cardboard, etc. used in the packing; the estimate you get upfront includes all the materials that would be needed.
I highly recommend Supernova for your moving needs, and encourage to get an in-​home written estimate ahead of time. Thank you guys for making our move date less stressful!

I thank you Supernova Moving from the bottom of my heart for a stress free, terrific experience! From day one when I contacted Lauren (who was great all the way through) to Steven who came and gave an «on target» quote to moving day, it was as perfect as a moving day can be. Steven and his team, Joe, Elliot and Macho arrived at the scheduled time and immediately began moving boxes out and just as quickly started disassembling furniture, wrapping and loading. My move was to a storage unit and that was packed so beautifully! My boyfriend and I are moving again in a month and we will absolutely be using them then and anytime in the future we need moving. Anyone needs a mover… Call Supernova!

I can’t say enough about this company! From the initial consultation with Steven, to getting the quote from Lauren, to how smooth moving day went… it was a wonderful experience! The way Steven, Macho and Joe seamlessly moved through packing, loading, unpacking, re-assembling…it was amazing to watch. A well-​oiled machine, indeed. And then, at the end, to get a beautiful gift basket to welcome us into our new home… so thoughtful. (I had told Steven I would take a photo of it for my review… but my husband got into it before I could get to it!) Whether you’re moving one mile or 3,000 miles… you should call Supernova!

I started off like most people, on google, looking for a reputable moving company. Through my search I came across Supernova and contacted immediately after reading the previous positive reviews.
My scheduled move was from a fourth floor walk up apartment in Manhattan to a warehouse in Hawthorne, NJ. I spoke to Lauren who was very kind/​helpful and assured me that my move was in good hands.
Steven and his team arrived on time the schedule morning a began loading there truck right away. They worked fast and efficiently and handled my items/​belongings with care. All of them were very nice and easy-​going.
I had been dreading the move, but was very pleased with my experience with Supernova Moving. Would recommend to anyone who values good customer service and hassle-​free moving.

Steven and his moving crew are amazing! We contacted Steven for a quote and details for our move and he was able to fit us in the next day as requested without a problem. They arrived on time, wrapped everything fast and efficiently, and moved it to our new place without any issues. They even disassembled and reassembled our bed and other items as well! And our move was from out of state into NYC. We’ve used supernova quite a few times now and every time they out do themselves with their service. Steven is extremely patient, explains the whole process and answers any questions and puts your mind at ease throughout the entire move! I definitely recommend Supernova moving co. and they are the only ones we ever use!

We used these guys for our move from Jersey to NC. After comparing several quotes, decided to go with them. Everything was carefully packaged and loaded with care. The truck arrived at our new place on scheduled. These guys moved quickly and place each box in their designated room which certainly made things easier for us. She was very polite and incredibly helpful– she was able to ease my anxiety about moving and made me feel good about choosing Supernova after she told me about their company. The day of the move was a breeze! The guys started working as soon as they got off that truck and wrapped everything so nicely that I wasn’t worried about my things getting damaged. After the move they gave me and my family a welcoming basket which blew my mind! Even the day after I got a call from Lauren to make sure everything went well.

Excellent job by Steve and his team! The work was efficient and professional. Steve was calm and organized which helped put us at ease. All of our items, from big to small, were handled with care and expertly packaged. After Steve was given the breakdown of what was to be moved the team began working immediately. They also organized our storage unit beautifully. Also, as a sweet gesture the team gave us a «Happy Moving Day» gift along with a handwritten card. I will definitely be using these guys again!

We had a great experience with Steve and his team. They were courteous, careful and quick. Our Move from Montclair to Oakland was a big one and the guys were so pleasant and kind it made the whole experience easy and positive. We took the whole Saturday to get moved in and Steve even gave us a Welcome Home basket with beautiful fruits and cookies in it. I highly recommend them!
