This place is closed. Sadly, they are all closing in San Diego, but for some reason on both Unilocal and Google Maps, this place is listed as still open. I LOVE Qdoba and hate to see them go.

Hadn’t been back here in a while. I was in the area and decided to stop for a quick lunch. I ordered on the tostado bowl with chicken. I didn’t care for the chicken. It had a rubbery texture and didn’t have much flavor. Guess I didn’t order the right thing this time.

I’ve always loved Qdoba but now I love it even more since they include guacamole for free!

Qdoba! This is one of my favorite places to go. I went to the one in West Covina for a few years before they closed down. Now I visit the Hawthorne location. This past trip was disappointing. I spent 15.00 for a skimpy rice and bean burrito because the person making the burrito decided to be stingy with the meat! First off I agree with what other guests has said about sitting in the booths. I’ve been here several times and it’s the norm for the register to be left empty and usually employees are sitting at the booths. When you go back upfront(as I did for a bag after dining in) I had to wait for the employee to get out of the booth to assist me. When my burrito was being made, I noticed the small portion of meat. When I expressed concern on the amount of meat he said«you only get 2 ounces of meat»… I really wanted to say«well how do YOU know it’s two ounces by eyeballing it»… I KNOW what 2 ounces is, that clearly was not. I was so dissatisfied I took pictures during the process of eating my burrito because I couldn’t believe there was hardly NOMEAT. After paying 15.00 for a meal, there is no reason I shouldn’t be able to clearly see the meat in my burrito. The manager here that use to manage West Covina is cool however everyone else has an attitude. Please look at my pics and consider this when ordering a burrito. Hopefully they won’t be as stingy with you as they were to me.

Tried this place again hoping for a change in customer service. Food is just as good as I remember, but customer service still sucks! No greeting, no smiles, and an attitude that makes you feel that they’re doing you a favor by serving you.

In regards to food, Qdoba is one of my favorite fast food joints. Customer service however, that’s a different story. I actually use to regularly attend this Qdoba a year ago, then had to stop coming because the staff was extremely rude anti customer service oriented. I gave them another chance today due to their new«No Extras» promotion. Disappointed again! I walk in to wait my turn, nothing eventful happens. When I finally get my turn I end up ordering and realize that I will need some toppings on my veggie 3 cheese nachos on the side because it won’t fit. So I ask for basic necessities(sour cream, cheese, red sauce and guacamole) on the side, in larger containers, since I had non on my nachos. I do this and get to the gentlemen, who may have been the manager, only to see me being rushed. So much so I couldn’t even use my reward card, I was charged before I arrived. Turns out he charged me for the guacamole($ 2 something) since it wasn’t in the smaller container and told me I should be charged for the other sides since they were also in larger containers., luckily he didn’t charge me I ended up asking to cancel the guacamole. HOWAM I SUPPOSETOKNOW? Anyways, the whole time no Hello, greetings, smiles or anything else. Basically got rushed out and scolded for getting larger sides, which my nachos were void of anyways. This Qdoba really needs to rethink their hiring strategy. As a customer and possible investor/stock holder, I would not waste my money with a joint that does not understand customer service is a priority. There is no excuse. Either hire the right people and train them to cater to the customer, or do something other than retail. it’s that simple.

We got our food within minute because we went in 30 minutes before the place closed. The guy that worked there looked upset about something but was very nice to us. The food was great, but I feel that the price is a bit high. We got a naked bowl and with tax it was almost $ 10 for each bowl. I don’t think it should have been that pricey but I understand everything nowadays is expensive. The place was tidy and clean. I’ll probably go back but not often because of the price.

I came in last Sunday night at around 8:30pm because it was conveniently open until 10pm. Qdoba’s menu is very appetizing, it includes burritos, tacos, quesadillas, etc… much like chipotle. I suppose i am what most people might label as a pescatarian and this place offers a veggie burrito for vegetarian peeps. I ordered the«PICKTWO» which is a combo option, I chose the two tacos and the tortilla soup. My tacos were satisfying even without the meat. My tortilla soup was tasty especially with added cheese. Unfortunately, by this time they were out of many ingredients including the essential part of a tortilla soup, tortilla strips! They were out of lettuce as well which was a bummer. The customer service that night was mediocre. The employee was blatantly indifferent about customer service and seemed like she needed an attitude adjustment. One thing I LOVE and would rate 5 stars is the fancy soda machine! lol Hope this place isn’t normally this bad…

I want to give it a better rating for the food, but I also want to give it a lower one for the service. I went to a different location the first time and we were the only ones there. No rudeness, quick and easy. I was told this is basically like chipotle with sauce. I actually liked it a lot better! This location gave a much larger portion! I was almost able to finish the first time, the other times I barely got halfway before I had to stop. I’ve only had the burritos, I’ve yet to try anything else. This one has been empty every time I’ve been… from lunch rush to dinner rush… which is probably why I’ve been coming here more than the chipotle across the street. Parking is better, too. With chipotle I need to order online and leave five minutes before the time given to see if maybe my food will be ready when they’re busy. I don’t find myself even needing to bother doing that here. It’s just… even when the line is out the door at chipotle, the workers are always nice and don’t treat you like crap, at least in my experience. Or talk to you like you’re stupid. It’s irritating and really off putting, especially since there’s not another one near by to go to. Please work on the customer service!

I pick up lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I enter the restaurant and was greeted by welcoming staff. The restaurant was clean and full of food aromas. Finding the line was kind of confusing there’s no sign or a symbols. You pick out your base which can be a salad, tostada, tortilla or a entrée. Then you add you sides like corn, lettuce, tomato and etc. I had the mango salad and added chicken, black beans, green & yellow squash $ 12. The salad was fresh and tasteful. Service is pretty quick! I would them 5* but amount of chicken was less then what I expected.

I love Qdoba! I used to work in the same parking lot, so I’d eat there at least once a week. I still go there about once a week even though I don’t work nearby anymore. I usually order the three taco plate(only $ 6.29, I think). I love their crunchy chicken tacos. All the ingredients are fresh and delicious. It is extra for guacamole, but their guac is fresh and very good. I have a rewards card here, and I would suggest you pick one up as well. It’s free and you scan it for every meal you purchase. Every 10 meals earns you a free meal. It’s pretty nice when that free meal comes up! I used to get the Craft 2, and get 2 tacos plus nachos. The nachos are good but there are so many toppings and so few chips and the cheese sauce makes the chips soggy pretty fast so I have been sticking with just the tacos. I always say a LITTLEBIT of salsa, otherwise my taco will be swimming in salsa. Pro tip: Order the sour cream on the side! They always put WAYYYTOOMUCH sour cream. Your tacos will be DRENCHED. It is impossible to take to go, it will just be a soggy mess later. I always get sour cream on the side, even if I plan on eating it right away. I can put it on myself. Besides that, the food here is great, and priced fair. I strongly reccomend eating here. SKIP the long line at the Chipotle across the street!!! Come here instead.

I’m giving this Qdoba 2 stars just because of the food. I usually go to the Qdoba at Fox Hills mall in culver city but I so happened to be in the Torrance area and came to this location. Parking was easy, as soon as I walked in it was empty there were 2 employees sitting in the booth idk if they were on break or not, I get in line there was one person ahead of me, Another behind me. One person on the grill, cashier and line person. They were rushing really fast but it wasn’t even busy, they were quick to make our orders sloppily, not really friendly it felt more of hurry up! order! buy! and get out! Instead of it being Welcome, what would you like to order, your total is, thank you for coming. I ALWAYS order a burrito but today I ordered craft 2 for 6.99 you can choose any 2 items they have on the list, I got chicken quesadilla and Mexican gumbo the total came to 7.62. Because of this the chicken quesadilla is smaller than the one you would normally buy so it’s pretty plain and pathetic but the Mexican gumbo saved my appetite, giving me a little fulfillment. Headed for the door I noticed how the cashier and guy who had did a terrible job of making my order joined the other 2 employees who were in the booth, when I first got there. I guess they just don’t like having customers and like to hurry and kick them out so they can laze off and gossip all day. Pretty rude experience but I won’t let that stop me from going to my normal qdoba spot and I’ll be sticking to the 3 cheese queso burritos.

Solid Americanized-Mexican food. The Qdoba is right across from a Chipotle so it’s kind of like when there’s a Starbucks across from a Coffee Bean and you have to choose your loyalties. The setup of Qdoba is also exactly like Chipotle. I had the pick 2 items for $ 6.99 which came with a small salad(with delicious dressing) and 2 soft chicken tacos.

Wow this place is so delicious! I’ve came here twice in the same week. Both times I’ve ordered their nachos, and I’m so satisfied with the food and customer service. This restaurant is so neat and clean, I enjoy coming here because I know I’m getting the best quality, fresh and delicious. This is better than Chipotle. It’s cleaner, and I don’t need to stand in a 10 minute line for my food. Absolutely, one of my new favorite spots to come eat.

I have passed by this place hundreds of times, but never came in. I decided to give it a try because I was craving a burrito and the line at Chipotle was insane. I didn’t have much time. The menu is reminiscent of Chipotle, but I must admit there’s more of a selection here. There’s more meat choices, sauce options, and you can even choose between white or wheat tortilla. The shredded beef is really good, I would definitely recommend it. The prices are about the same, however if you join the rewards program, you can score free food. All in all, I prefer Chipotle because I think their food has a bit of a better taste. But Qdoba is definitely a contender for the Lunch Break Crunch.

Qdoba is great place to have a quick meal when you have limited amount of time on your hands. They serve up fresh and healthy Mexican food. I ordered 2 chicken tacos and a small nachos. I really enjoyed that meal but every condiment had a price label on it. I added cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and jalapeño and it ran me an extra $ 3.00! That is ridiculous anyone should pay extra for condiments that is traditional to the dish. The lines were long but moved rather quickly. The staff were a bit rude and seemed like they were getting a bit agitated with customers. The price is definitely steep for the amount of food they serve up in a combo but sadly(like the nachos addict I am), I’ll be coming back here for their delicious and cheesy nacho fix.

I’ve went back a couple of times. Same deal. Stingy portions and the quality is lacking. Folks, look at the busy Chipotle across the street and ask yourself why Qdoba hardly has anyone in it.

I have no idea which came first… Chipotle or Qdoba, but basically they’re the same place … like the Coke and Pepsi of assembly-line burritos. You may have a favorite, but it really doesn’t matter if you’re Team Qdoba or Team Chipotle. There are no winners. The biggest difference I could see at Qdoba was a Burrito option called a Queso Burrito. So, that’s what I tried. It’s the obligatory burrito choices of White/Wheat Tortilla, White/Brown Rice, Meats like Steak, Chicken, and Pork, plus plenty of Veggies & Sauces … with a bonus scoop of semi-melted blended Cheese & Peppers. The burrito was hefty and fine for the price. As a side, I added an order of the pre-made Guacamole and Chips. The chips tasted like the freshest thing there… weird, right? Actually, the coolest item at Qdoba is the Coca-Cola Freestyle Soda Machine where you can choose soda and flavor combinations on your own. So, Qdoba is quite right when you simply need to quell your hunger with a quick burrito.
