Mattress Connection

BE CAREFUL WHEN BUYING A MATTRESS FROM MATTRESS CONNECTION! I’m not one to write reviews on Unilocal,but I feel anyone who wants to buy from this company should know what my experience was.
I went into Mattress Connection in Torrance and was quoted a price. I decided to go to other mattress stores to make sure that was the mattress I wanted. I came back the next day and there was a different sales person. I went over to the bed that I wanted to buy and it was a lot more expensive than the day before. I brought this up to the sales person, he checked the price and it was actually lower than what it said on the bed. I decided to buy the bed when he lowered the price.
It bothered me that they didn’t have the correct price and kept changing the price, so the next day I went to the Hawthorne store where the owner (Tony) was. I didn’t realize it was the owner until he told me he was. I asked him how much that bed was and he said it was even cheaper than what I paid for. I told him I bought the bed yesterday and I was charged more. Tony said the price that Tony just told me was wrong and it should be a lot more. He’s the owner and he doesn’t even know the correct price? Because he told me the lower price, he refunded me the difference to the lower price i was quoted by him.
I got a call that day and was told my bed was going to be delivered between 3 pm — 7pm the following day. It wasn’t delivered until almost an hour later than the time frame promised. The next day I went into the store to talk to the owner (Tony) and all he said was sorry there was traffic. He didn’t show any remorse and could care less that I was sitting there waiting for them to show up and couldn’t leave until they did.
I will NEVER buy from this company again. They are a family based business and they don’t even care about their customers. They only care about the money they make. What happened to making the customer happy especially after what happened to me?

When I first went to the Mattress Connection Tony greeted and acknowledged my mom and I with a smile and a «how’re you?» I enjoy great customer service and he started it off with the right foot. When discussing mattresses, he was knowledgable and was helpful in recommending the best selections available. I wasn’t ready to buy at first, as I was shopping around, but when Tony made an offer I couldn’t refuse I decided to go back today (2÷14÷16). Tony had set up everything with Bryan and Cleat (as Tony wasn’t there) and when I went to finalize the purchase, Cleat was great to work with. He was funny and personable; a real great attitude. Bryan, too had a great personality and was tentative with the questions posed to him.
I highly recommend this store and all the people that work here. Go now and buy your mattress today!

Great customer service here! Cleat was a lot of help & provided us with all the information we needed! We were in a bit of a rush since we needed/​wanted the bed today and they were able to get everything delivered today! Highly recommend this place!

I had the quickest and most pleasing experience here. I only needed a full size box spring and plain metal bed frame, walked in and had everything taken care of in less than 10 minutes. 2 days later they had it delivered and set up for me for only $ 50. I believe the man who helped me was named Nick, he was so friendly and knowledgeable!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. After calling 10 mattress stores and being completely let down by Costco in Hawthorne, nick at mattress connection was my saving grace! I looked everywhere for a box spring to pick up today but this was the only place that had them stocked. They’re basically a warehouse that stocks everything! The service is phenomenal. Definitely ask for Nick if you ever stop by.

I highly recommend this place to mattress buyers. Exceptionally great customer service. The manager knew the ins and outs of every mattress in store and could articulately explain every detail. The delivery process was flawless. Overall a great shopping experience!

Stopped in here as the control group for another mattress store down the street, and ended up buying our matters (and pillows) within 20 minutes. Cleat O’Brien was our salesman and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. They delivered the next day as promised, and my wife and I felt great about our purchase. a Serta I-​series. The selection isn’t vast, the store ain’t pretty, but Cleat had exactly what we wanted.

Very poor selection of products. Staff unknowledgeable in the mattresses they stock. Poor problem solving skills from management. Hate to see this with small businesses. Treated with lack of care when expressing my issues, Unilocalers do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

We walked in to buy a little mattress for my son and walked out with a temper-​pedic for my husband and I, plus the kids mattress. We met the owner, he was very helpful and informative. This location has a huge selection of temper-​pedic mattresses. He offered us the floor model for a discount, which is a Huge savings. When the bed arrived, it was brand new. I have to say our experience here was fabulous and we all Love our new beds! Thank you!

Came to this store today looking for a new bed. Went in just to browse around and compare prices. Hands down this place is a great place to buy a bed. The owner really helped us out explaining the differences in beds and showed us everything in the price range we gave him. Not only did we get a great deal we got really good customer service which is always a plus! I would definitely recommend this place.
