Since we lived in San Bernardino County, my husband and I made the HUGE mistake of using another agent when we listed our home for sale.
However, we decided to ask Johan if he could help us find a house. My mom used Johan as her agent when she purchased a condo years ago. Since I was with my mom when she was house hunting, I had first-​hand knowledge at how hard this guy works to make sure you find the house you want, in the perfect location (for you) and at your price point.

We closed a little over a week later than our original closing date, due to the owner going on vacation and leaving some things unsettled. Since my husband and I need to empty our portable storage unit in a day, Johan offered to help us move our items out of our portable storage unit and into our house!
He really went above and beyond and is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He is friendly, cheerful, positive, respectful professional and open minded. My husband and I were lucky to have gone with Johan. He really made the experience as stress-​free and pleasant as possible. Let me start off by saying that I was 3 months pregnant with my first child when I set up an appointment to meet him. Our goal was to have our home before our baby arrived so I figured it was good to start early. I was very honest with him and told him my husband and I were new to the whole home buying process so we had no idea where to start. He was very patient in explaining all the real estate «lingo» that goes on when you’re going through the process. He made himself available any time via phone/​email or text. Trust me when I tell you I asked TONS of questions and every answer he gave us was honest. That made this process so much less intimidating because we all know how some brokers can be– quick to seal the deal and cut their check.
Johan never made us feel uncomfortable or pressured to make any sort of decision. He listened to our requests and made accommodations to look at properties late into the evening; sometimes after 7pm because my husband worked late. I wasn’t always the most patient because I wanted to make sure we had our home ASAP! I had a baby on the way and we needed it fast (blame the hormones lol) He compiled lists of possible homes and set up times to view around OUR availability. That even included 9am on some Sunday mornings. This really made a difference for us and we greatly appreciated him taking time away from his weekend to show us around.
As our process came to final stage once our offer was accepted, he was our middle man. He always made himself available to explain what we were signing, answered any questions, and let us know what would happen next. Overall, I am so glad we found Johan and were able to work with him to buy our first home. He really made the whole process much less intimidating and more of a learning process of all that goes on.
