Man. I went into this place the other morning and it smelled like weed in there. Seemed like the barber and the client where having a little fun b4 I showed up. Thank god I didn’t take my son with me. This is just bad business.

Henry is a personal friend so my review may be biased but he’s a dope barber. I’ve been shaving my head bald my whole life but when I decided to grow out some hair Henrys was my first stop. This guy get down with the fade & man he makes that shit look easy. Anyway hit this place up if you want a sick hair cut cause these guys get Down!!!

I’ve been going to Henry for over 14 years and he is always been the best. I am a regular customer to the shop and I have had my hair cut by each of the barbers at least once when Henry was busy and I have never been disappointed by the cut or the service. The shop is very old school and there is a certain level of adult conversation that goes on, but every time I have been there with my kids the barbers has been respectful and have even gone do far as to change the TV to find something for them to watch. I think all the negative comments are from folks who have unreal expectations. If you want a good haircut from real people, at a good price then you found the right place. If you want a red carpet and fake people then keep on stepping.

If you’re looking for a GREAT barber shop in the South Bay, this is the place to go! I stopped by on a Sunday morning with one person ahead of me. I was greeted by Dorian and told me I would be next up and apologized for a brief wait. As many guys are very particular about how their hair is cut, I was able to explain to Dorian exactly how I wanted my hair to turn out. He asked questions and was very understanding. I was in and out in a little over 30 minutes with a perfect cut. I am very happy with the service and experience that I had here. Dorian: Thanks for the cut! I’ll be back!

Henry is my new barber; I used to come to this place a couple of years ago before I moved to Palmdale. Moved back to South Bay and tried to find a real barber who could cut a flat top. I had two strikeouts with local barbers near my house: I was being lazy by not just going to Hawthorne like I should’ve when I moved back. Best decision I’ve made! For his age the man cuts like he has 30+ years artisan experience! He gives me the perfect fade and squared-up cut; I have NO problem giving a «nice» tip after. He touches up the ears and asks if you want a shave too! Nice, cool, «old school» shop with ALWAYS something cool to watch on the TV(when u can see it lol)! Henry is worth making the appointment(which I would recommend on weekends or weekdays especially after 3:30pm when it gets near closing. He was even open on Xmas eve! The shop is usually closed Mondays and I was surprised that because he got so many calls he decided to open! Really cool move! Definitely keeping my business here! Worth a few extra miles to look THIS good!

Great service! Henry has been cutting my 6 year olds hair for a couple years and its always perfect! He recently did my 18 month olds hair and let me tell you it was NOT easy!!! Henry did an amazing job with what he was working with… I felt so bad but I gave him a generous tip so hopefully that made it better! Actually Henry is fantastic with kids and always gets us in with no wait!!!

This guy hates his customers! During a weekday morning, i was getting a haircut by Henry. Through the glass window we see a family coming in with a child, about 6 – 7 years of age. Through his teeth, i hear Henry complain, «got damn they’re brining in a fucking kid.» He asked if they had made an appointment, told them that they need to call next time, and that he won’t be able to take him in until 2pm. Again, this place never seems to be busy, especially on a weekday morning. I called the shop on a Sunday morning and a guy answered the phone. He told me he was closing at 4pm and to come on by. Me and my son were due for haircuts so i brought him with me. We show up around 1pm, there must have been about 3 people waiting. As soon as i open the door, the guy looks at my son and tells me that these are his last clients and he’s closing up shop. The last time i went to this shop, i called in the morning and Henry aswered. Asked if he was busy and he said no. I show up, theres 1 person waiting, he looks at my son and says«I can’t take both of you. If you want to come back at 2pm, sorry man.» This guy turned me away several times, he must not need money like the rest of us!
