If you ever want to be entertained, Hawthorne Caballeros are a good time. This is my 2nd season with the Corps and I’ve been loving every moment.
The Hawthorne Caballeros compete with Drum Corps Associates (or DCA). The Corp was established in 1946. Since then, we’ve won the DCA World Championship 9 times, the American Legion National Title 16 times, the National Dream Contest 17 times, and the New Jersey State American Legion Title 43 times. We have completed 5 undefeated seasons, consecutively in 1984 and 1985. We have placed in the top 3 placements at the DCA World Championship 31 times in 43 appearances.
The competition season starts in late June, but we’re usually out in May in parades and exhibitions. If you want to check us out visit our website
