Bright Now! Dental

One star is not even deserving. This is absolutely the WORST dentist to possibly go to. You enter and the ladies at the desk are secretly texting, eating, just moving slow like they don’t even want to be there. I waited in the waiting room for for about 15 minutes then did my x rays which was okay. The girl did not really speak and was not sociable. This was the shortest and LAZIEST cleaning I have ever had in my life. There was no floss nothing. The Asian lady who has performed it was rough and kept accidentally stabbing my gum with the equipment. She told me to rinse after 4 minutes of poking around. Like what?!
In terms of changing my silver filings to porcelain (white) this was horrible. The lady Dr. was rough had a heavy accent so I couldn’t understand anything she said and she was just rushing on my mouth. I felt very unappreciated. On top of that I went home and later that day and could not chew because she filled my cavity too high and my bite was off. So I had to go back and complain.
The same Asian lady who was supposed to «clean» my mouth kept going to the Dr. asking why I didn’t have to pay a co-​pay. This is just unacceptable. The front ladies deal with the money and insurance so why is the hygienist interrupting people and so astonished about my bill?!
Unprofessional. Rough. Poor quality work. Do not come here ! Save your time money and sanity. Go to a better dentist yacht actually cares about your dental health!

Everything and everyone in this place is extremely sub par. I was very upset after my «cleaning». The first female dentist that did the cleaning was nice BUT the 2^nd female dentist was EXTREMELY rough. They ran out of water and she had me wait with the sucking instrument in my mouth while her assistants ran around. She finally told them to «just bring me tap water». She never addressed me or apologized. She manhandle my mouth like I was some kind of farm animal. Maybe it’s the chain-​store factory mentality she’s comfortably adapted to over the years. Even the first dentist asked me if I was ok. I paid $ 72. for something to prevent inflammation after the cleaning, which I never had to do before at any other dentist. In hindsight I guess it was a good idea I paid since they used tap water & she mangled my mouth. She didn’t give me any info on the condition of my teeth (I had not seen a dentist in 3 years) except for the 1 glaring issue I do have which instead of having a professional conversation with me, she had an assistant play a video & the same assistant preceded to repeat what the video had just told me. I asked what the cost might be but the front dest lady stated that they were «new to my insurance» (Tricare/​UHC Military) and could not give me a quote but would call me. That was yesterday. No call yet. Not sure what she’s taking about because Tricare has their company listed on website for years. Needles to say I did inform this same lady that the dentist was very rough. She said she would tell her. I left very upset with the whole terrible experience. Please do not go. I will write a formal letter to the company itself also. Hope this helps.

Made a Unilocal account so I can talk about this office. Let me start off by saying that it is absolutely horrible! The people that work there are so rude! My goodness I wish I never came to this place, but I really didn’t have a choice.

Don’t even try them… unfortunately I did not look the reviews before choosing them… Money suckers… No proper inspection… They will just just take xray no inpection and pass it on to specialist, specialist will say it was general doctors work to inspect so go back to them… They will keep playing this game… And keep sucking hefty money for nothing… Please do not even consider them… There were much better options which I realized after having to go through Bright now ordeal… I will give minus rating if i can…

If you are looking for outstanding personal attention, compassion, and heartfelt concern coupled with skill of the highest level then the dentist for you works at this location. The person that I’m referring to is named Evlyne Hersel DDS. This dentist goes out of her way to personally assure your experience being a positive one. Her attentiveness removes the stress (well, most of it) from a dental visit. The staff, most of them, work to continue that experience right through the end of the visit. I truly think Dr Hersel makes this a 5 star location.

Absolutely hated this dentist. The lady at the front desk you check in with had a very bad attitude and would answer very rude. The doctor was very sarcastic and really annoying. They didn’t even clean my teeth like other dentist would. They take forever to process the x-​Rays. I told my mom to take me back to my old dentist. It was that bad. Never going back again.

I had the most unfortunate occasion of going to this dental center to have two teeth extracted. I wish I had read the reviews first. My experience was a nightmare!
After waiting at least an hour and a half to start the procedure I was finally called in. The oral surgeon, Dr David Cedeno, injected my mouth with novacaine and started the procedure. He clearly didn’t numb my mouth enough or at all, because I felt everything he did. I was screaming and crying out in pain and instead of stopping, and resolving the issue, he yelled at me rudely and continued. I was in shock from the pain. I wanted to say something to him, but he disappeared and I never saw him again. He was rude, obnoxious and uncaring. I wasn’t numb at all.
This place is just an assembly line factory. Get the patient in and out quickly and on to the next. Avoid this horrible place at all costs… especially Dr Cedeno.

I will never recommend any one this dentist place. Very horrible job and poor job and they try double charge you for the same work. Bright Now Dental is about quantity not quality. You’re better of small business dentist. They change manager so often and the assistant manager Norma she needs more training unprofessional …

I’ve had it! I had my braces done here when it was castle dental. Which was a shitty experience in itself. When they removed my braces they wouldn’t take the glue off! I had to change dentists!
This was 8 years ago. Bright now recently took over this operation and decided to go through all of castle dentals old books. They decided castle forgot to charge my insurance for the last visit and make an educated decision that I must compensate them for their fuck up… 8 whole years later. Here we are 8 fucking years later send me a collections notice for $ 1300 dollars! Mind you I had paid my portion down to zero. If my last visit was worth 1300 bucks they should have taken the fucking glue off my teeth!
No bill! No open invoice! No «hey you have an open balance and were going to send you to collections if you don’t respond». Nothing! Just BOOM! We’ve sent you to collections.
So I call bright now to resolve this bullshit and surprisingly enough they don’t have an accounts receivable department. They have me call corprate. Corprate says, «yeaaaaaa that’s not our problem and has me call the dentist office again. Bright now says, «oh, uh well you called the wrong department, you need to call billing». Billing says, «yeaaaaa we don’t deal with collections». You have got to be fucking kiddin me! I call bright now back and I swear this GED receptionist says I have to call back on Friday and speak to the orthodontist. What the fuck is the orthodontist going to say??? «That’s a billing issue»
I’ve never dealt with such stupid shittyness in my life! Meanwhile my fucking beautiful credit score dropped by 100 points and I am not paying this unwarranted collections notice! Statute of limitations to file an insurance claim is 2 years not 8!
And they still were unable to tell me what the fuck costs $ 1300.
Stay away from this joint! Their incompitence will cost you years of headache.

Do not recommend this place at any extent. They never do a good job. They ruined my mother’s teeth, and took more than 7 appointments to get it fixed. Made her look like bugs bunny once, which got me really mad. Also, they said I needed a root canal, which I already had before. I never had any problem with the previous root canal I had in a different dentist. I could eat tortilla chips without problems and other hard stuff back then. However, they rebuilt it and really messed it up. I can’t bite anything hard now because of their bad job, and also deep-​drilled the other side of my teeth, which now I can’t use that part either to bite hard stuff. They literally messed up my eating life. They are also way too slow to get things done. One appointment took like 6 hours to get done, including the long waits… For the record, the last service I got there my insurance covered it all. However, in my last appointment they sent me a letter saying that they couldn’t get the money from my insurance, so they billed me the missing part. I went to talk in person, and they said it was an error of their system, and that I didn’t have to worry about it, and that I just have to ignore it. I kept ignoring those letters until I’ve received one warning, saying that they would send my credit for collection, and that I have to pay the increasing amount of $ 350. There is certainly something wrong or illegal going on with this place. I’m currently dealing with this issue now, so I’m just warning anybody who is thinking about going to this place. You were warned.

I would also give a negative review if I could. I waited 3 hours and I got the worst service of my entire life. The cleaning was horrible and the office is disgusting. do not go, I will not be back.

First went there about 1 – 2 years ago. Waited an extremely long time for an appointment in the morning and wasn’t helped for about 2 hours. Sat inside, and waited another hour to have simple cleaning and a filling done. Everything was done. Two years later today, that same filling has come loose. I’ve had other fillings from other dentists for nearly 10 years and not once have they come loose or come out. I call and ask if they can fix it for me since they did the work, but they have to charge me for their mistake. I’m switching dentists cause that’s bullshit.

Just called to try and scheduled my kids check up! Unsuccessfully, I wasn’t able to do so because according to the guy I was speaking to I couldn’t schedule more than one appointment in the same day because «the dr. doesn’t see more than one new patient a day», yeah I know that sounds dumb ass hell. But I explained to him that my daughter has already been in to see this dentist and my (toddler) son was the only new patient. However he refused to set me up two appointments for the same day. He did tell me that maybe the Dr would set up one appointment in the morning and one in the afternoon, I was hesitant to take a day this way because that meant that I would miss a full day of work, when I told him that would have to do he told me he didn’t have anything available. I asked for a weekend and he attempted to persuaded me from doing so by informing me that the nearest day available was in the middle of the summer. I’m a full time employee who can’t afford to take off several days for the same check up so I was willing to take the mid summer Saturday appointment. He then informed me that I still couldn’t set up the appointment for more than one person. I figured he didn’t want my business and ended the call. I will never step foot in a Bright Now Dental and will take my children to a place that is wiling to accept my business and be flexible with me as I am with them.

This place absolutely sucks. I made an appt 2 weeks ago for my kids, they wait until I get there to tell me they do not cover my insurance. wtf. They claim their phones were down for over a week but they seem to be working fine today. I asked the receptionist why she could not call me this morning and she had no answer. Plus its dirty!!! I wasted time and gas. I should have read the signs in the beginning when I called to make the appt. and I keep having to call back because they left me on hold for so long. uugghh

If I could give a negative score I would. It was like going thru a bad car wash… This place is awful and would never go back. Do not go. They rush your child thru a cleaning (which is a little floride) no flossing nothing. The Doc. barely spoke English and was very defensive when I asked questions about their xrays. Then they proceed to tell me my 4 year old needs two root canals. Are you kidding me??? 6 months ago her teeth were great at her last cleaning. Will not go back and recommend anyone reading this to not go there.
Bright is a bad chain and nothing good to say about them.

Hate isn’t the word, it’s and understatement, I have the misfortune of getting my ortho done here, and I’m trying to leave this place and go for another dentist office. The wait time is too long, even on time your going sit and wait an hour and then once your in the seat your going to wait another 30 +min, they even have you on hold for a long time when calling, there over booked when it comes to ortho appointments because they are only there on fridays wtf! If you have to change the time of an appointment, good luck, they will push your appointment till two weeks later because there too full! The ortho receptionist doesn’t know when to shut up and handle business, there’s way too many people in the waiting area, it’s just a cluster fuck in there. I’m more upset with myself that I didn’t take the time to do my research and find a great quality dentist. Word of advice if your insurance company gives you a list of dentists in your area do your research before choosing! I’ve learned my lesson.
