History

Established in 2014.

Kanisha is an Instructor, Educator, Minister, Choreographer, Coach, Mentor and most importantly a worshiper born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She began dancing as a liturgical dancer at the age of 6. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Dance from the University of California, Riverside and an Masters of Fine Arts in Performance and Choreography from the Florida State University. Kanisha committed her childhood to the work of Christ by traveling and ministering through dance with Day 3 Dance Ministry for 11 years. In 1999, Kanisha founded Generation Xpectation Hip-​Hop Dance Ministry in her home church, and served as director and choreographer for 8 years. Kanisha has worked and trained extensively in contemporary/​modern, jazz, hip hop, ballet and African dance. Mrs. Bennett has conducted contemporary master classes at various colleges and universities, as well as high schools, middle schools and churches throughout the US and abroad, which have invoked her passion for educating stu
