Description

Specialties

A casual family restaurant and pub centrally located in beautiful downtown Havre de Grace, adjacent to the Susquehanna River and the antique shopping district. The extensive menu offers something for the entire family. From delicious steaks and seafood to the award winning cream of crab soup and jumbo lump crab cakes, along with their specialties which include seafood nachos and buffalo wings. The menu is a little bit of Irish, a lot American and all Havre de Grace. Stop in for a great appetizer, lunch, dinner or for a cold Guinness at one of our 3 bars or 5 dining rooms. Ask for a Coakley! There is always family there to greet you!

History

Established in 1997.

Lifelong Havre de Gracians, Margie and Dwayne Coakley (siblings) opened Coakley’s Pub to showcase their Irish heritage along with their love of Havre de Grace and their desire to raise their families in beautiful HDeG. There have been many expansions in the 17 year operation and now Coakley’s Pub is housed in 4 buildings which occupy the entire block of 400 St. John Street. With 5 dining rooms, 3 bars, a billiards room, a fireplace, dance floor featuring live local musicians weekly… there is literally something for everyone.
