So happy to have a salon that is local that I love. I don’t have to spend a ton of time driving or waiting once I’m there. The staff is professional but laid back and the atmosphere is nice — modern and clean. The cuts are better than I’ve found in other salons in the city.

Prior to finding this Havertown gem, I had been getting my hair done at a pricey salon in Ardmore. Lauren at Velour gave me a comparable, if not better, haircut, and it only cost me $ 19 plus tip! ($ 34 — new client $ 15 discount) The receptionist was very professional and helpful, and the salon had a classy feel without being intimidating. New clients also get a 20% discount on hair products during their first visit, so I didn’t hesitate to purchase a new bottle of Redken conditioner. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s hard to find a good hair dresser and I finally found one in my neighborhood! Ask for Lindsay, she’s great! She cuts both my hair and my fiancée’s. He is really picky about his hair cut and she is the only one who can actually give him a good cut.
I have long hair and when I ask for just the split ends cut off, thats exactly what I get– an inch is an inch, not 3 inches. Always reasonable priced and you get a discount when you schedule your next appointment. Great atmosphere. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to support local business and not looking to sacrifice big bucks for a good hair cut. No need to go to the city for a good cut– Havertown’s Velour has it.

My search for a salon that is expert with cut and color is complete! Alexandra does wonders with fine hair. I also love their products! Everyone is so friendly and professional, this is a high end salon in the suburbs. If interested, they do a killer spray tan. And when you ‘check in’ there’s a $ 5 discount! I highly recommend this salon.

Ask for Paola. Very unpushy salon with $ 15 discount for new customers and goodie bag of product samples. Paola listened to my thoughts, asked how I live with my hair and we arrived at a manageable 4 inches off my long locks. Tonight I go back for some color… so excited! I learned a lot about what I was doing wrong caring for my hair. I couldn’t be happier with Velour and Paola…
