Benedetti’s Deli originated the concept of «The Rocket» which is perhaps the largest deli sandwich one could imagine. We offer over 30 different rockets. Our Rockets come in 2 sizes: Whole & Half. We pride ourselves of having 30 sandwiches at $ 5 or less! Using only the freshest of ingredients and bread baked daily from across the street are what make our sandiwches so special. In addition to our Rockets we are known for having some of the tastiest chicken fingers in the area.

History

Established in 1955.

Benedetti’s Deli was founded in 1955 by Molly and Marcy Benedetti and has been a family owned and operated business in Haverhill, Massachusetts, since that time. The deli was first run by their son Joseph Benedetti who operated the store for 53 years until his passing in January, 2009. Joseph was affectionately known as «Bobo» to his many loyal customers and was a store fixture, hardly ever missing a day of work. Bobo originated the concept of «The Rocket» which is perhaps the largest deli sandwich one could imagine. Many customers have commented that a Rocket is so large it could feed an entire family. His idea was to provide a quality product at a value, a tradition which continues to this day at Benedetti’s Deli.

Since February, the deli has been run by Bobo’s three children, Marc, Mary and Edward, who proudly carry on the traditions of their parents, Joseph and Mary.

Since February, the deli has been run by Bobo’s three children, Marc, Mary and Edward, who proudly carry on the traditions of their parents, Joseph and Mary.

As you may have heard, we’re busy making tons of improvements to the store and our offerings. We still only use the freshest ingredients and serve all of our Rockets on bread baked daily accross the street at Fantini’s Bakery. Besides our monster subs, we offer a full compliment of Coca Cola products, chips, french fries, sides, salads and Barbara’s famous brownies.

If you haven’t been by the store recently or fondly remember the Benedetti’s Deli subs you used to have as a kid, you should stop by and grab a Rocket to go!
