Great service for a fair price. Called Andy on short notice and he was more than accommodating, showing up the next day. He texted me 15 min before the appointment to let me know he would be ther on time. The carpet looked brand new when he finished. Great attention to detail. Recommend A-​1 Capet cleaning, especially if Andy is doing the work.

There is nothing better than cleaning your home. I mean really REALLY cleaning. I called A-​1/​Andy after a good spring cleaning and finished it off with having my carpets and a couch cleaned. I feel like I have a new home!
Andy was highly recommended by locals in my area and I can see why. He showed up on time, the whole cleaning process was explained to me via the phone and in person so I knew what to expect, how he would use his equipment and the expected outcome.
I wish I took some before pictures of the rugs and couch because I was slightly horrified at how shining new everything looked after. I didn’t realize it was so dirty! Not only did everything come out great, I don’t need to chase my son around and freak out about him re-​dirtying it because it was very reasonably priced. I’ll be using him again!

We hired A-​1 to clean several tile floors in our home just prior to putting it up for sale and an open house. Andy and his helper, Ed, arrived and we reviewed the floors that we wanted cleaned. They proceeded to spray all of the floors in six rooms with a cleaner that smelled like Pine Sol. I decided to stay out of their way and was in my sewing room with the windows open, since the Pine Sol was overwhelming. About half an hour later I had to go downstairs for something, and I was stunned to find they had dragged their water hoses across my hardwood floor (which I told them had just been refinished) snaked it through the house to get to the Florida room, when they could have just brought the hoses up the deck stairs directly into this room and the kitchen/​breakfast area. Andy was upset that I asked him to take the hoses out of the dining room and bring them up the deck as I had explained to him on the phone. I also had to ask him to move his commercial van off of my lawn, which is very soft after several days of heavy rain. No reason they should have been on the lawn, we have a big driveway! I almost fired them right then, but all the floors were sprayed with that Pine Sol, so I tried to explain how I wanted them to approach the rooms and I let them proceed. I stayed nearby but out of the way, to make sure they did the job right, and noticed they were leaving a lot of water on the floor — puddles of water! I mentioned this and again Andy was defensive and rude. When his helper «finished» the Florida room, and removed all the equipment to do one more foyer off the garage, I went in to inspect the Florida room. There were puddles of brown water on the floor and clearly visible dirt and stains. I grabbed a wet cloth and wiped up some of the dirt, just to make sure it would remove, which it easily did. Then I went outside and asked Andy to leave without finishing the downstairs. He threatened to call the police when I told him that I would have to discuss the job with my husband tonight and decide how much to pay him. I showed Andy the dirty Florida room floor and he had no excuse or explanation — I think he thought I would not look until after he left!
I don’t know if they are using old defective equipment, are incompetent, or what! I have had these tile floors cleaned professionally two or three times in the 12 years we’ve owned this house and never had this kind of experience. My floors were not even that dirty — I just wanted them squeaky clean and the grout clean for the photographer and open house. It took me 3 hours to rinse and wipe down the floors that these men «cleaned». I took photos. Do not hire this company. I am happy to share the photos with anyone. Exeter NH

We just moved into the area and Andy was quick to schedule a cleaning for both our carpets and our hardwood floors. He performed an in-​home inspection and did not charge more than the quote. Although very busy, he was willing to work with our timeline and needs and completed our service before we moved all of our furniture in. The carpets look years younger and the hardwood floors have a renewed shine. Thanks so much! Would definitely recommend.
