History

Established in 2014.

Prana House Yoga opened its doors on November 15, 2014. Owners Derek Hopkins and Nadia Stadnycki have been teaching and practicing in Philadelphia for almost ten years at the premier Dhyana Yoga Studios and are now bringing the tradition of yoga to Haverford Square and serving the Main Line Community, including Ardmore, Bryn Mawr, Gladwyne, Rosemont, Villanova, Devon, Wynnewood and City Line Avenue. PHY rehabilitated the former Jai Yoga location and looks forward to growing a supportive community of practitioners.

Derek and Nadia H.

Business Owner

Derek & Nadia’s mission is to help people find and actualize the truest version of themselves.

Derek and Nadia are adventure enthusiasts committed to growth, change and transformation. For the past decade, they have been sharing the joys and excitement of personal evolution with everyone bold enough to look inward. The primary vehicles they use are retreats, yoga, workshops, life coaching and training. Their dedication to partnering with individuals and groups has grown from the thrill of their own evolution and desire to empower the same self-actualization experience in others. They believe that it is only by testing our limits that we learn what we are truly made of.

Derek and Nadia have been practicing yoga for eight years and have completed a Teacher Certification Program at Dhyana Yoga. Derek and Nadia live in Bryn Mawr, PA with Duke (4). They co-founded Prana House Yoga in 2014 and look forward to many years of building community.
