Yoshimura Shrimp Truck brings new life and flavors to the North Shore shrimp scene by mixing the tastes and spices of Singapore, Japan, and China into our mouth-​watering shrimp plates. But that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten our local roots with our daily specials of Tongan Lu’pulu, Moist Meatloaf, and Katsu Chicken. We have been in the North Shore for generations and love to serve our local friends as much as we love to treat our visiting tourists. This place is curry heaven. Though it may look a little rough in the outside, this curry was a breath of fresh air in an area of Oahu where the food is mediocre. This food rivaled the traditional Fijian cuisine of which it was influenced by. As someone who has traveled all over the world (to places where the curry is a staple in locals’ diet), this place stands out. People who work here are very nice!
We recommend: shrimp, lamb, or chicken curry.

If the craving is for shrimp, Mom and I always hit Yoshi’s. I usually get the teriyaki steak plate with garlic shrimp. The food is always fresh and delicious. Mom likes the spicy style with rice and mac salad. Mmm I’m making myself so hungry.

Driving around north of the island after sunset desperately trying to find a place to stop and fill our stomachs… Yoshimura’s was obviously closing down as we pull into the parking lot, but they still waved us in and prepared a fresh and amazing meal! friendly family and delicious food. we aren’t always used to that kind of warmhearted service back in seattle. thanks!
