History

Established in 1997.

We have grown from a 2-​person operation to having the deepest range of talent on Long Island. Our success is solely attributed to the word-​of-​mouth and repeat business of our happy clients that continue to book us and spread the word about how great our entertainment really is. Business Owner

Tim Brown, Owner of Ideal Entertainment, has spent 15 years in the music industry, spinning everywhere from Planet Party on Long Island to events for 90.5 FM in Chicago. Taking his career outside of the radio waves, he became well known as the house DJ at Brennan’s in Hauppauge, and the Cat’s Meow in Smithtown. Other venues included the Vanderbilt in Huntington, The Backyard in Port Jefferson, and Summer’s in the Hampton ‘s.

Experience is on his side, as he’s done over 1200 parties, including Weddings, Bar/​Bat Mitzvah’s, Sweet 16’s, Communions, Corporate Events, Christmas Parties, House parties, Prom’s, Anniversaries, Radio Station events, Clubs, and more.
