Awful experience. We wanted to list our home with Delois Smith realty but they wanted to repaint the home before they would accept the listing. They were also frustrated that we had a 9 month old baby girl and that people could not view the home when they wanted and that we needed sufficient prior notice. They told us that we should go with someone e, se. I would never do business with them.

What an awful No-Star team! What a supreme joke of a realtor. She overlists ALL of her listing properties. I mean by around 60−80k! What this achieves is a seller who thinks their property is a gold mine. Notice all of her properties sit on the market forever until some poor out of towner chump gets caught in her scheme. This is Hattiesburg, people, not some major metropolitan market! Her staff has dropped the ball for DeLois who insists on «handling» all offers personally. What this translates to is she won’t deal with you according to contractual times at all unless she thinks it is an important sale to her. Another thing she does is these ridiculous writeups about her properties. One insists, «One of Hattiesburg’s most prominent families lived here and entertained all of Hattiesburgs most prominent people including lawyers(snakes) and…(get this one) Boy Scout Leaders…» what a JOKE! Who blew smoke up these people’s prominent arses? DeLois Smith who is really selling an overpriced hunk of 1960’s junk and tries to sell it as a prominent house. It is actually going to take some fool over $ 100k just to get it to not look like a set from Auntie Mame! Avoid this pompous old woman and her«all-star» kiddie staff.

We did ALL the work. We found the houses we wanted on-line and then asked our agent to show them. We told them our budget, but our agent kept showing us houses that were out of our price range. Eventually the house we bought was a rip off. There was no insulation, the air conditioner didn’t work, the house started sinking within a month of when we bought it. Olsham gave us an estimate of $ 15,000 dollars to fix it. Then the water lined broke and we were told we would need to repipe the whole house. I think we got a phony house inspection!!! Another $ 15,000 or so. We eventually just walked away. WE got NOTHING but BAD credit from dealing with this company.
