The food here was excellent I ordered the sweet jerk wings and I have to say interesting flavor but great I would recommend then greatly. Our service was not great or even good our waitress was really short and seemed very annoyed which can always ruin your experience. I would recommend checking this place out you will enjoy.

Beer selection is just about the best in the area. OK bar food. Service is abysmal. The old location had better food and better service and a vibe that doesn’t feel like TGI Fridays. If you are at the bar, your experience wont be too bad.

Worst place ever! Horrible food, skunked beer, absurdly long waits to be seated and served, and terribly rude staff. To top it all off this place is astonishingly overpriced

I went to The Pub tonight, and ordered a Stromboli with sauce. They’ve done this in the past without even blinking. The server felt compelled to caveat that the sauce would be in a cup on the outside(evidently this has been an issue for other patrons). I asked for the sauce inside the Stromboli. This is a standard arrangement; you can order this in ANY pizza joint in southeast Pennsylvania. The server rudely retorts that«they won’t do it that way». Now, I’m a strong advocate of supporting local businesses. But I’m also quite opposed to offering my financial support to ANY business that is socially irresponsible. If you can’t accommodate a simple request from your clientele, and give them a negative attitude, I’m done doing business with you. There are countless places to eat in the area; I’ll go offer my support to someone who can offer a pleasant service experience. You’d think that they would be interested in satisfying customers. Seeing that their Unilocal reviews have slipped down to three stars, I guess that’s an indication. I told the server that I didn’t want anything. A few minutes later, the server returns. I’m thinking, fair enough, this is an opportunity for them to apologize for their oversight and correct the issue. However, the server brings this patronizing attitude back to the table: «Well, the owner said No [ … Seriously? ]. «But the head cook said that he would do it, but it ‘would be a real mess’ «giving me this attitude as if I am obviously in the wrong, that they’re doing me this HUGE favor, and that my dinner will be ‘a mess’. Bearing in mind that I’m being told that the owner himself has declined this simple request and the server’s rude attitude; again I’m in a position to no longer reward this business with my financial support. I told the server that I would ‘not want to put them out’, and declined. When my friends were finished eating, I paid for my soda and tipped the guy a nickel(a ceremonial slight, to make the point of the value of the service). We won’t be returning.

Literally just came home from Pizza Pub, my Wife ordered a cheesesteak wrap which she thought was good. I ordered a chicken quesadilla(my wife repeated the order over the phone) and fries. When I got home the quesadilla was a large cold cheese patty(no chicken to be found) and the fries needed to be heated in the oven because they were cold to the touch. Pizza Pub is at most 10mins from our house so neither of the items should have been cold and hard when I got home. Not sure we will be going back.

Excellent sandwiches, pretty quick service. I know it sounds silly but I don’t love the lighting. The ambiance at restaurants is important to me and I’m not a huge fan of the ambiance here.

It gets more stars for the beer menu. My wife and I both got burgers. They were clearly frozen. You could taste the freezer burn. The fries were good though. I really enjoy the beer selection and will go back because of that, but I would probably not eat there again.

One of those bars that accommodates a variety of crowds, well. Sports screens all over, but totally family-friendly, often see kids here. Fantastic beer list typically. Significant beer destination, actually. Great food. I have no idea what the haters are talking about. It is always busy, every day of the week.

This place has my personal favorite wings since the mid 90’s when I first had them. Despite some of the bad reviews I recommend the wings. I like the suicide wings with dragon sauce on the side. I’ve never had a bad experience service wise either. Just my experience.

Worst experience ever! My boyfriend and I came here for a quick lunch on Sunday. The waitress didn’t acknowledge us until 15 minutes later and when she finally approached us, instead of apologizing she said we were last on the list that’s why she waited this long. Very very bad beginning. We ordered wraps which they were terrible, my chicken wrap had two small pieces of chicken and a lot of lettuce, so basically filled with lettuce only, gross. And the waitress brought one water, and Said«I only had one clean glass» really? Is that what you say? Anyways, I’m never coming back. I wonder if the owners or managers of this place look at Unilocal and Facebook reviews? Maybe you should train your servers to be more polite? I worked in customer service for years so when it comes to these situations I know when something is wrong. This was the first time I ever tip less than 20%

Disappointed would be an understatement. Simply put, my service was poor as I waited way too long for just an order of boneless wings, fries and a beer that didn’t come before my meal like a drink should, but with my meal. Once I finally received my wings, they were terribly chewy and unappetizing and my fries were cold. I don’t ever need to go back…

My family and I have been here many times. The food is good, the beer selection is better than good. The service can be a bit less than you’d hope for at times. It’s a pub people! If you want a tasty burger and some really good wings and a nice beer and enjoy the atmosphere of a crowd watching sports then this is the place for you. If you want impeccable service and gastropub selections then go somewhere else. My favorite is the chili burger. I ask for extra chili on the side and they bring a ton of it.

I have to admit, the negative(and at times very passionate… not in a good way) reviews of this place almost kept me from even checking it out. Being out here on business from Denver, CO and working long hours on a new project, I was desperately seeking a good… no, make that great craft beer… and this place delivered. Happy I dropped in. I’m not sure of the service standards in this area(by reading the other reviews, they must be pretty high), but I thought they were ok… Not great, not horrible, but they got the job done. The fact that they are a beer/sports bar, I was very happy with the service speed/level. I came here 2 of the 4 nights I was in town… And I will head back if duty calls in the future. With that said, let’s visit the food and beer side of things… Great selection of beer(on tap, didn’t even look at bottles/cans), 40 to 50, with everything from the basic grain water(Coors Lt, Millet Lt, Bud) to the legitimately might«knock you on your @$$» flavors(Alesmith/Green Flash/Mikkellen). Just what I was looking. The food was very good as well… Had a Chicken Cheesesteak the first night, and it was awesome(please refer to my «I’m from Denver, CO comment above, so I admit I’m no expert, but I thoroughly enjoyed it). The second night I had the pizza, again, very much enjoyed it. Gave it 4 stars based on the fact that no, they are not the best beer and/or bar food place I have ever been in, but given the above… I give them a solid B+

I have never written a review and I hate to give a bad review but this is a must! This place was awful! I ordered a black and blue burger cooked medium, took one bite and immediately sent it back. I get burgers everywhere are was expecting a decent one from a «pub», but this was the first burger I have ever sent back. The patty was some grey frozen meat concoction that tasted nothing remotely close to beef, the blue cheese looks like it was salad dressing out of a bottle with not one chunk of blue cheese(it looked like ranch), and the black part which was supposed to be cajan seasoning on the patty was instead some brown sauce that looked but didn’t taste like BBQ sauce. I would have been fine if it at least tasted ok but it was the most disgusting piece of fake meat I have ever tasted. The only redeeming quality? Lots of beers on tap including the hard to find Not Your Father’s Root Beer and an appetizer of boneless wings that was decent but not great by any means. Just because of that I didn’t have the heart to give them one star even though they probably deserve it. Be warned and DON’T order a burger!

I’ve been in there twice, and both times I’ve gotten either mediocre or shoddy service at the bar from a few of the female bartenders. Granted there’s one or two fun ones, but the others are snotty or completely apathetic. My main complaint is about the online beer list, particularly the bottled beer. I usually like to hunt down rare craft beers so I check all local bars online. Both times I’ve gone in looking for particular beers the webpage claimed they had, and I’ve been disappointed. Furthermore, they don’t actually have a bottled beer list when you get in there, and the bartenders never seem to know the inventory. Yesterday I asked for one, the woman rolled her eyes and said they didn’t have it, I waited for her to walk away, saw it there in the fridge, and decided to leave. I give them credit for the amount of craft beers they offer, but the experience should be much more fun. If possible, the place is just too«big». I enjoy their sister location, Smokehouse Tavern, so much more. It’s more intimate and with much better servers.

I visited this awesome pub/sports bar with my family, it had a great vibe going on, on new years eve, friendly staff and really good food, along with a huge wall beer cooler to grab and go with your pizzas and Strombolis We ordered the«White pizza» just cheese pizza which was really good I also order a steak and cheese Stromboli and it was fantastic… So if you are in the area, stop by for some good food and good atmosphere Note: they have tons of flat screen TVs playing all sort of sports all over the bar area and the dining area

Definitely a step up from our previous experience, but still room to grow. We ordered the wings again and were happy to have a drumette to wingette ratio of 1 to 1(6 of each). That’s how it should be, not 1 to 11. We got the hot oriental wings, which really loved. They’re rated a 4 out of 5 on their hot scale. They don’t start off very hot, but it’s a lingering heat, so my wife only ate 3 or 4. Glad the waitress notified us that the Dragon Wings, a 5 out of 5, may be too spicy. Good save. The veggie salad we split was decent. Good size with assorted peppers in it. The dressing was raspberry vinaigrette, which tasted fine, but appeared pretty gelatinous as we poured it over the salad. A house dressing may be a better option. For our dinner we split a calzone, which was plenty for two after sharing the two appetizers. We added in sausage, bacon, broccoli, spinach, and garlic and it was delicious. Toppings(or in this case fillings) in every bite. The marinara can sometimes make or break the calzone, but this marinara definitely added to the meal and it was provided in a bowl, not little cups like some try and give you. Definitely recommend trying one, and I will say our combination of ingredients worked great together if you’re interested. The beer list is also a high point here. It is extensive to say the list. I’m not a beer connoisseur by any means, but it seemed like they had a good range and there should absolutely be something for everyone. Prices were great with the most expensive I saw being $ 5.75 or $ 6, while majority were in the $ 3-$ 5 range. I’m new to the area, but in the few popular spots I’ve been to thus far, these prices are way better. They also sell 6-packs in store and again have a solid selection. I can definitely see myself picking up a few from here in the near future. And speaking of drinking, if you’ve had too much and live within 3 miles, they have a shuttle bus to get you home. This is new I believe and I don’t know when it actually operates, but if it’s going to be one of those nights, I would inquire early on. Cool idea either way. I live about 2.5 miles, so I may put it to use. My only draw back from the evening would be the cleanliness outside on the patio. Yes it rained earlier in the day(like 5 – 6 hours earlier) but if you’re serving drinks at the bar outside, you should at least wipe down the chairs and clean up after previous groups. I’ll admit we were only out there for 15 – 20 minutes, but multiple tables had overflowing ash trays, which doesn’t appetize anyone, and empty bottles piling up. Just clear that stuff off so more people can enjoy the area because the wait times to tend to get pretty long here. We were told an hour and only had to wait 20 minutes though. The outdoor patio and my previous experience don’t allow me to rate Pizza Pub a 4-star just yet, but they’re getting close. I do intend on returning and would have no problem updating again to get some more positive reviews on here. There’s really no reason a place that is always packed should have such poor reviews. Clearly people love this place, but they just aren’t on Unilocal

Food and beer are very good. Mike our waiter was no where to be found for most of our night. VERYANNOYING.
