The Game Shop Outlet Store

If I hadn’t been searching desperately for a card game (Dutch Blitz – so much fun!) no one seems to carry in time for Christmas after my amazon order got lost in the mail, I never would have discovered this hidden gem in Hatfield. TheGameShop seems to do most of their business online, but their outlet store is full of tons of board and card games, most of which I had never heard of before – I wish I had more time to browse AND play. Apparently you can try some games right there in the store, and I guess the staff will play with your if you’re on your own which is really cool (and maybe sometimes creepy for them?). It’s nice to know that you can actually see if a game is going to be any good before you buy it. Video games are fun but nothing can beat an old-​fashioned board/​card game when it comes to getting a group of any age together. I would definitely recommend visiting the store or at least checking out their website next time you’re in the market for a game, especially if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary.
