Godshall’s Auto Service and Towing

New to the area, finding an honest capable shop to care for your steed is a top priority. Thanks to online reviews carefully researched inc Unilocal,Angie’s List, and AAA, Godshall’s in Hatfield PA is this AAA girl’s choice for my 2008 out-​of-​biz-​Saturn on a General Motors extended warranty though there are other good shops closer to me like Bob Adams’ in Lansdale as my backup, and Mr. Tires in Lansdale for easy nearby yearly inspection and tire maintenance.
One of the early family names settling this area, Godshall’s is rightly trusted as a small but professional expert independent not big price-​gouging operation, watching out for you for the better of their website coupons/​specials v. discounts like AAA. Fast-​paced with no waiting room to spend time, they’re concerned for the time you’re without your vehicle and may be able to help with your commute if needed.
I also go the extra mile to go to Godshall’s after they even found something my awesome California care missed, which may have caused a mysterious mechanical problem they identified and fixed too. I haven’t been back since summer 2013 because my car’s run fine since their care :)

I tried this place three time and after each one I say this will be the last time I came to this shit I made an appointment and bring the car for him and and it take with him couple days then he call me to say I Think it’s blabla or the second time after tow days he called to say I check it on the computer and they says it’s blablabla hay dud I bring my car and lost time so u open it and see what’s going on not to google it and see what the people say I can google it at home if I won’t

Once my car hit 135,000 miles, everything started to go wrong, so I’ve been to a bunch of mechanics in the area recent months. I should write a Girl’s Guide to Auto Mechanics in the Philadelphia Region.
My usual place in the city isn’t open on weekends, and so my brother-​in-​law suggested Godshall’s. He takes all seven of his vehicles there, and they’re open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
My car was stalling and I was going through gas like water, and Steve (the owner) determined it was the fuel regulator. Before he started the repairs, he called me and explained it, which I really appreciated, and told me how much it would cost. I was confident he’d do a good job, and I was right.
The most recent problem was a surging engine noise that was so loud that people were staring at me wherever I went. I was feeling pretty down on my luck because this happened just 2 – 3 weeks after the fuel regulator problem. I needed something good to happen for once with this damn car.
I dropped it off on a Friday evening so Steve and his guys could get to it Saturday and hung out at my dad’s until it was ready. Steve called and explained that it could be a number of things, but his approach was to address the most obvious problem first instead of fixing all of the things that could potentially be causing the noise.
The most obvious problem was a $ 1 dry rotted hose, which he replaced. I picked it up after he had closed, and thankfully, the noise was completely gone! I’ve been driving it all week and it’s running great. He didn’t mention how much I owed him, but Godshall’s is going to be my go-​to place in the future, so I guess we can settle up next time. Knowing this car, it will be as soon as next week.
I also received a postcard in the mail offering 10 percent off my next visit, which I thought was a nice touch. It’s obvious that Steve cares about his customers and I highly recommend him. :)
