Not sure if this is a clock store, a clock repair store, a vintage/​antiques store or what. In any event, sign on the window sais «we replace watch batteries,» I had a bunch of watches in need of batteries, so I stopped in. It was almost as if I entered a foreign land, where the guy behind the counter seemed annoyed he had to stop whatever it was he was to wait on me. He warmed up a little bit as we went through the work that needed to be done, and did thank me upon leaving. Watch batteries were replaced within the timeframe he promised, and his prices were fair. Clearly, clock repairs are his thing, as evidenced by the volume and assortment of clocks in the store. I’d go back again.
