Such a special place! Amazing food and lovely people serving you, plus an unreal view of the cliffs and the Hudson! You have to stop by and enjoy this special little coffee shop!

Came in this morning to do some work. Got an iced green tea and a scone. The owner(or whoever was working) was one of the warmest and kindest people. I do a lot of work in cafes with free wifi and he was so welcoming and personable. I would come back here many more times! The scone was delicious(Hit The Road, I think it was called) and the iced tea was refreshing. All in all I had such a positive experience I felt that compelled to write a review.

I’ve never been to the jazz night here, but I can speak with authority on the morning hours. I love this place — with people coming and going from the train, it feels more like a community check-in or a brunch party than a business. And Avi, the man who runs the place, is a warm and wonderful host. Also: I’m pretty sure the coffee is Barrington, which is hard to find around these parts. All in all, one of my faves.

Definitely my favorite coffee shop in Hastings. This place makes a serious espresso. I love the ambiance and it’s a great place to relax. The shop is so splendidly small town and intimate in its own way. This place is worth a stop by if you’re early for trains. The location is amazing.

Really nice café that has killer cappuccino. Very pleasant for breakfast, plus very cool jazz jam sessions on Friday nights.

The most fun thing is happening in Hastings! High level jazz with a jam on top, every Friday from 7 — 9:30, at the Hastings Station Café. Last Friday night, we were treated to a vibe copacetic by Ron Vincent on drums, Jay Azzolina on guitar, Mike McGuirk on bass, David Janeway on keys and several people from the Rivertowns sitting in. I felt so relaxed. It was great to hear Latin and swing jazz, see some old friends and connect with new people of all ages. Some friends even came up from the city to join us! What could be easier? The café is footsteps from MetroNorth. More bonuses: delicious tapas and OUTSTANDING coffee. Wine is available also. Hope this keeps going. Even the train whistle got involved!

This friendly coffee spot got even better, with evening events. The café now has a liquor license for a good reason. When I last visited, I saw announcements for Tapas nights Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The atmosphere in the evening is great, airy and inviting in summer. We watched the sunset over the Hudson and nibbled on gourmet style Tapas, some of them vegetarian, provided by a chef from Irvington. While some nights as f.e. the Friday Jazz jams are hopping, we also had the chance to have a romantic dinner on another occasion with live piano music.

This place is great. Amazing coffee, delicious desserts, and a really good spinach, tomato muffin on toasted whole wheat bread. Great way to start your day with a good breakfast on the go to Manhattan. Deserves 5 stars. Also you can’t go wrong with free WiFi!

It was a pretty good place. I would say 3.5 star. Convenient for catching /coming from train, but for a gathering place, it is not that special.

A solid stop on your way to or from the Metronorth stop in Hastings. Grab a coffee, hook up your laptop to the free WIFI and electricity, and enjoy yourself. The coffee is excellent as well.

Makes me want to miss my train every morning. Coffee that will put hair where every you want it, and the best bagels. Good small sandwiches, TV on the World Cup, and wi-fi. Might just as well move my office…

The café has added a very needed source of reliable coffee, tea and simple fare. The baked goods are far better than most others in town, italian gelato is now there(a bit pricey bit worth a treat). Add to that an atmosphere that offers free wifi, welcomes children(ou can alway change the channel on tv or turn it off) Concerts by local musicians, story time w songs for little kids($ 5) and convenience to town(he now serves at the farmers market) best of all is Avi who owns the place — seriously he along with his wife are wonderful hosts and supporters. They get it. ENjoy a break or some real oatmeal in the mornings etc
