Established in 2014.

D. Thomas Fine Miniatures was established in 2014 as a retail destination featuring artisan dollhouses and top quality collectibles including ¹⁄₁₂^th scale furniture and accessories. The shop also offers DIY/​workshops and classes taught by master artists and craftsmen in the field.

The concept, designed to appeal to collectors, crafters and enthusiasts at all skill levels and abilities, was created, in part, to raise awareness of miniatures as a decorative art form and to introduce the discipline not only to a new generation but to those who may just be discovering it!

The shop also features a gallery space showcasing works in miniature by well known artists from all over the world.

Miniatures have delighted people for centuries. In fact, the ancient pharaohs were buried with tiny versions of the objects they treasured in life which would travel with them to the next part of their journey.

Today, folks continue to love the wonder, charm and excitement that fine miniatures provide. I’ve been passionate about them since I was a young boy and I’m thrilled now to be able to open a shop to those who already know about them but also for those who just may be discovering them.

For the collector, we have a wide range of ¹⁄₁₂^th scale fine miniatures in the popular categories including furniture, paintings, ceramics and fashion items. For the creative builder, we have classes in miniature-​making to offer. And for the enthusiast, we showcase significant works to view and appreciate.
