Common Ground is the producer of three monthly music series — the long-​standing Common Ground Coffeehouse series at the First Unitarian Society of Westchester, in Hastings-​on-​Hudson NY, Common Ground @ South Church, held at South Presbyterian Church in Dobbs Ferry NY, and Common Ground Folk Series @ Lewisboro Library, held in South Salem NY. On occasion, we also hold concerts in other locations.

History

Established in 2002.

Common Ground was founded as an effort to build community and to support regional and national musicians and other artists. Since 2005, Common Ground has used its profits to operate the Common Ground Microcredit Fund. The fund raised has raised over $ 25,000 for local, regional and global community groups and organizations that provide either much needed social services or work toward progressive, nonviolent social change.

Now preparing for our 11^th year, Common Ground has hosted such beloved national and regional artists as Guy Davis, Steve Forbert, Vance Gilbert, Eliza Gilkyson, Ellis Paul, Red Molly, Chris Smither, Sloan Wainwright, Susan Werner, and many more.
