Ludworth Kennels

My cat did not complain after her stay there, and the cages seemed large. I think they may have occasionally let her out to play, or at least petted her while she was there.
The price was very reasonable as well.

I highly recommend the Ludworth Kennels. Tom and Dan cared for my Brussels Griffon for a week, and did a fantastic job. They also shared some really good advice on feeding my finicky pup!
My dog was happy, clean and in great spirits when we picked him up. For $ 35 a day, it’s a great deal.

Ludworth Kennels is by far the best around. Tom is amazing with our dog, Willy. Willy is a rescue (½ greyhound and ½ beagle) so he is smart and fast. He comes back from Ludworth exhausted! It’s wonderful. He also looks forward to going. On our last visit he actually tried to jump out of the car to greet Tom! The grooming is excellent and Willy comes back looking great. I would 100% recommend Ludworth Kennels.

The Ludworth Kennel is located on a very old farm with a large yard and a barn in Hastings-​On-​Hudson, NY. that’s about half hour from the city in westchester county.
When you arrive you get the feeling that you’re in a dog friendly farm instead of a kennel full of fluorescent lit hallways and stinky cages. You first get greeted by 3 or 4 medium size hunting dogs who are extremely friendly and just dying to lick you hello.
My dog is small but there is boarding for larger dogs as well (I’ve heard them) There is also an outdoor patio of some sort for those well spoiled cats who prefers a luxurious life style.
Also they have a grooming service. Remember to bring some of your pet’s food.
I usually judge a kennel based on my dog’s reaction when I revisit them, and my dog seems to really like Tom and his kennel. I will definitely return there when I need to board my dog.
