Chicken shawarma sandwich was delicious. I’m definitely coming back for other menu items.

Great food, everytime. The flavors are rich and you feel like you’re getting super fresh food straight from a home kitchen every time. Three skewer plate and falafel are my family’s go to. Add the lentil soup and you’ve got yourself a meal. My family of four, including a toddler and an almost-toddler, love it.

Just had the lunch special plate for $ 6.95 with chicken and kafta kebabs, two falafel, rice and pita. The food was very fresh and tasty. Will definitely come back!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE This place… Great food… Great prices and the people who own it are super super nice and welcoming. This is one of the BEST mediterranean places in the area. Once you get food from this place you will be hooked like I am. I usually order the Chicken Kabob, Falafel, and Tabouleh and its always fresh and tasty the consistently is always on point! Prices are not bad either for the amount of food you get.

Reasonable prices for good food — picked up the combo kebab platter, hummus and some falafel for around 22 bucks. Good neighborhood option.

Food is always delicious here. Soup or salad come with the plate meal and fresh mint tea served after. I’d highly recommend the kefka kabob plate. The rice and kefka are so flavorful

The food was ok. I had the 3 skewer combo. The Chicken and Kefka was good but the steak was very chewy and not very flavorful. We also split the 6 Piece Falafel Plate, which was also not very good. Overall the place was nice and clean and the staff was ok. I would say the best part of the meal was the mint tea, which was very good and strong. It was served piping hot, so it ended up being desert teat.

Food is excellent and the staff is always accommodating. The menu is pretty cheap and the food is always served fresh. Can’t go wrong with eating here.

I’ve been to this restaurant more than 4 times since I last check-in on yalp. I would give it 5 stars rating each time. Its all about freshness, which is the best part about this place. on the top of that the warm hospitality I get every time I stop by with a fresh wonderful cup of tea.

The food is taste good but the facility is very very dated and is need of remodeling chairs are very uncomfortable and the place looks dirty… If I had known what it looked like before I walked in I don’t think I would have ever come here. But the food was good just not sure about the cleanliness of the facility.

Tried out this place because of other Unilocal reviews and a lack of middle eastern restaurants in my area. The food was solid and very reasonably priced. I tried the chicken shawarma sandwich and smashed it. In addition, got the small hummus app and they not only gave way more than I expected — about the size of a sabra container, but more authentic and with chick peas — but they gave me three whole pita breads. The app alone was like $ 4.00. My only real problem is that I had to wait because they had to turn the oven on or something to cook my and another customer’s food. Definitely will call ahead from now on but will return to try more, like the lunch special. Overall, reasonably priced good food, but that wait tho…

I live in the neighborhood and never noticed this restaurant until spotting it from the parking lot of Mariano’s. I Googled it, checked out the menu and got the number. I’d read here on Unilocal that orders can take a little time so I decided to call ahead. When I called, an answering machine picked up. I assumed I wrote the wrong number(I didn’t). We went over, placed our order and was told it would take 10 minutes or less. It took about 20. BUT — it was a pleasant wait and the food was great along with the price point. We ordered the Chicken Kababs, Shish Kababs, and Hummus. While we waited we were brought a delicious cup of mint tea. The food was abundant and really good. I would’ve given five stars except for the phone thing and the bit of a long wait. With that said, at least you know the food is cooked to order. It came with a delicious soup(or salad) and condiments. We’ll definitely be going back. Soon.

Really good and affordable place! Liked how the baba ganoush wasn’t too slimy. The falafel were also good. Good lentil soup. The chicken kabob tho… That was surprisingly moist and delicious! Over all the food and service there is really good! The only thing is the décor and cleanliness. Tables and chairs were sticky. Aaaannnd The chicken shawarma wrap comes in a warm crunchy wrap! To die for! ;)

Pita Alsharq is still 5-star worthy. I realize that I previously rated them a 5-star restaurant and that this update may seem redundant but please bear with me. This time, my wife and I decided to order all vegetarian. I suggested that we order one entrée and a side salad since you get so much food. We ordered the vegetarian combination which comes with 3 falafel, 3 stuffed grape leaves, hummus and babganoush. It also comes with lentil soup. All of the items were terrific and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered a taboulah side salad which was a large portion. The salad was bursting with flavor and freshness. I can’t get over how fresh tasting it was. The meal was topped off with two cups of complimentary mint tea. On both occasions, the restaurant was spotless and my wife said the unisex restroom is equally clean. The portions are large and an entrée could be split for an average appetite twosome. Supplementing your entrée with a salad should ensure that you will walk out stuffed like we did. Finally, vegetarians will love this place. I can’t wait to get back to PIta Alsharq!
