Very good food, but the female on the register has a major attitude. I asked for one flavor of soda. She gave me what she wanted to. I asked her to change it. In comes the major attitude. I haven’t been back since.

Great food especially if you don’t always want to do fast food. Made to order. Loved my New York Cheesesteak. Definitely will come back.

Hungry and can’t decide where to eat? New York Cheese Steak is the place to go. Located in the old Winn Dixie parking lot, this place is the perfect spot if you want to grab a quick bite. My favorite is the surf and turf sandwich. It has a nice little kick(cayenne pepper?) to it and bustling with flavors. If you’re in New Orleans, make sure you stop by this hole in the wall place.

Your cruising Lapalco and your hungry and you don’t really feel like eating the typical fast food and you can’t remember when was the last time you had a good greasy cheesesteak? Maybe the Harvey draw bridge is up and your super hungry? Well don’t look any further, take a turn into the old Winn Dixie parking lot, behind McDonalds and you’ll see this no frills cheesesteak place that is very good! I have eaten here a few times and I gotta tell ya, it’s just right. The right amount of meat, cheese, the bread is greasy and soggy just enough and the French fries are swinging, I forget why I don’t eat here more often. The decór is hole in the wall. Think like a Bud’s broiler. No frills. All about what comes out on the tray. I think the sandwiches are a little narrower than other places, not completely sure, alls I knows is when im done, im done. All swolled up, fat and happy. And miserable. The surrounding area isn’t fancy, and may even consider it somewhat sketchy but no worries. No hub bub here. Just really good cheesesteaks. Not much different from the bigger names like places… just the same. Easy to pass up if your not thinking about it but I don’t think you’ll regret the stop.
