FIAT of New Orleans

Bought a 2013 Black Fiat 500 Pop for our daughter thru the Ally Lease program. Now we are 8 weeks from the return of the vehicle and we find out the dealership has closed. The car is still under warranty and needs to have the drivers side window repair because it will not go completely down. We were told we would have to drive at least 6 to 8 hours for service to the vehicle. Then if the part isn’t available we will have to wait on it. They didn’t even know where to have us turn in the leased vehicle. Really unacceptable when we have held up our end of the deal with the lease. Fiat 800 number is no help either. We feel very stuck!

I bought a Fiat in 2011 and I love it, but I decided I wanted to trade it in for a lease to save some money. I spent 2 ½ hours yesterday trying to deal with «Fiat Specialist» Alfred Roberts, and a more colossal waste of time it could not have been. Roberts did not know that leases come with warranties, he told me they would only offer me a couple of thousand dollars less than the Blue Book value for my car – THEIR CAR – and even though my car is in very good/​excellent condition he told me «those cars don’t hold their value.» Seriously – you sell them!
After all that he came back and told me a lease on a $ 16 000 car would be more than $ 500 per month (even though I had run the payment calculator on their site – factoring in the depreciation they claimed on my car – and the payment wasn’t even $ 300). There are lots of Fiats in New Orleans and most of them must have come from here, but I’m guessing everyone else had a different salesman? I’m going back to my home state to the dealer there.
