The Harvard Academy of Dance is a premier dance studio serving the greater Harvard, Massachusetts area. We offer a wide variety of dance disciplines (ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater, lyrical, modern, acro, Kinderdance, and creative movement) and specialized training for both the recreational and comprehensive student from some of the finest educators in the country. We strive to provide an environment that encourages confidence, high self-​esteem, and technical growth in students of all ages, toddlers through adults.

History

Established in 2010.

The Harvard Academy of Dance was established in 2010 through the combined efforts of Kimberly Corbett, Timothy Hood, and Michael Hood. In 2012, Kimberly purchased the business for her own and continues to operate a positive learning environment for students in the Harvard area.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Originally from Ashby, MA, Kimberly began her dance training at Tami’s Dance Connection in Leominster, MA where she was a member of the nationally recognized competition team. She also trained at The Gold School in Brockton, MA under the direction of Rennie Gold. In 2002, Kim was a member of the U.S.A. Dance Team, representing the United States at the World Showdance Championships in Riesa, Germany. Currently, Kim can be seen performing with the CONcept ARTists out of Boston, MA. In addition, Kim is an adjudicator for a number of national dance competitions. She is a nationally sought after teacher/​choreographer and has received national awards/​recognition for her work. Kim is also a Zumba certified instructor. Leading Harvard Academy of Dance into it’s 4^th year of success, Kim is thrilled to share her love of dance with the next generation of dancers
