History

Established in 1990.

DeCraene’s Service Center began in 1981 in Woodstock. In 1990, an opportunity was presented to us to take over the operations of the (then) Shell Service Station in Harvard. We operated in that capacity for 10 years, until we stopped selling gas in 2000 and remodeled to increase our repair capacity to better serve a growing customer base. We are pleased to offer honest, dependable, reliable automotive repair and maintenence, as well as 24-​hour towing, to our loyal customers in Harvard and the surrounding areas.

We are a family owned and operated business. Most of us are family, but we are proud that the employees that are not actually related to us have decades of combined employment at DeCraene’s and are ready to help with any automotive concern.
