History

Established in 2009.

Griffin Mobility began as a business-​to-​business referral-​based company. Originally, we only provided wholesale equipment and services for businesses in the Home Medical Equipment community.

As demand increased, we adjusted our services and began providing to end users in North Alabama & South Central Tennessee

Our product lines include wheelchair & scooter lifts, converted, lowered-​floor wheelchair-​accessible vehicles, driver hand & foot controls, automotive transfer seating, as well as home accessibility options that are often included in «aging in place» plans.

Walk-​In bath tubs, Level entry shower systems, Stair lifts, chair lifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, & overhead track patient lift & transfer systems are common items that we install and service.

Business Owner

Brian & Leslie Griffin, owners at Griffin Mobility, are natives of Hartselle, Alabama, and have roots that run several generations deep in the North Alabama area. Their family includes 2 adult-​children, Meagan & Blocker, recent graduates of The University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Beatrice, a black & tan daschund, who is currently employed as the official greeter at Griffin Mobility.

With more than 40 years combined experience in the medical & accessibility equipment industry, Brian & Leslie welcome & invite you to their showroom at 213 Chestnut Street NW to learn all the ways they can help make your home, automobile, and life accessible.
