I normally like to support local businesses, but when I found out they sell puppies I decided not to. Pet stores selling puppies support puppy mills

Their prices for everything are almost double what you pay when you go to the humane society or other non-​profit places selling the same things. Especially the puppies; I’d like to see some information posted on where the dogs come from, as most pet stores get their dogs from unlicensed puppy mills. Who would pay that much for a puppy when you can get one through a rescue fully vetted for a fraction of the cost?!
