At Hartland Self Storage, we offer very clean, well-lit, gated access self storage, in a wide variety of sizes, both standard and climate-controlled, from 5’x10’ all the way up to 14’x40’. Our facility was built in 2005, and incorporates 7 buildings on over 4 acres, with 16 cameras running and recording continuously. We also have an automated self service kiosk in our foyer where both new as well as existing tenants are able to rent units, pay for units, buy locks, etc. We strive to provide the nicest storage units in the area at a fair price. Although there are storage choices that are cheaper, we don’t believe that there are any that are as clean or well-maintained as this one.
History
Established in 2005.
Built in 2005, and purchased by current owners in 2007. Improved immediately upon purchase by the addition of our automated Insomniac self service kiosk, as well as a quadrupling of the camera surveillance. We are continually updating and upgrading the features that make a good self storage facility work well.

Business Owner
I was a glass contractor for 17 years before I invested in this business, along with two partners, in 2007. We also run a 64 unit apartment complex in Wauwatosa, WI. Along with our facility manager, Denise, we work every day to be sure that the facility is operating as it should. That includes being sure that everything is clean, and devoid of litter, to making sure that all of the doors (337 of them) are working properly. In summer, we work hard to make the property look pleasing to not only our customers, but also to our neighbors as well as anyone just driving past. In winter, we are very proactive about snow removal and ice mitigation. This is, after all, a facility where our customers have 24 hour access, 7 days a week, by using their own chosen code at the keypad.
