I help people. I educate people about wood stoves and inserts, pellet stoves and inserts, and fireplaces of all kinds. I like to empower my customer by giving them honest information about the hearth industry. I do my own installs and service work so you can feel confident that your new wood stove or fireplace will be put in right and by the book. I have a showroom with many burning displays. I burn and display wood, pellet, and gas products.

I also sell barbeques by Big Green Egg and Treager. Treager is the industry leader in pellet grill technology. Big Green Egg is a kamodo style ceramic cooker that is a must have for those who love to grill.

History

Established in 2010.

In 1998 I was a college student at Michigan State University working towards a prelaw degree. I answered a «apply in person» advertisement in the local paper for a sales job. I ended up getting the job and the experience changed my life. I sold patio furniture, grills, fireplaces, glass doors, mantles, wood stoves and more. There I learned the joys of developing relationships with people looking for help with the product I had a intimate knowledge of. I worked my way through college at that hearth store before moving on to a different challenge.

In 2007 I joined forces with a wholesale fireplace distributor in Michigan and traveled through Indiana and Illinois selling fireplace products to other retail stores.

I eventually decided to pursue my lifelong dream of small business ownership and in 2010 Flame to Fire was born.
