Had out patient surgery for double hernia one week ago. Everyone I came in contact to was very friendly and accommodating. Joanne, the nurse prior to my surgery was exceptional. She has been there 32 years and still loves her job. She made me feel comfortable and just couldn’t do enough for me. Everyone involved with the surgery came to speak with me prior to the procedure. Everyone double checked my name, date of birth & procedure to be done. Dr Feeney performed the surgery. He is very easy to talk to. He’s never rushed and has good sense of humor. I hope I don’t need surgery again, but if I do — I’m going to try to go back to St. Francis.

Went here with my mom due to a 4 day long migraine that wouldn’t quit. We were here for 5 hours with very minimal contact from doctors or nurses. Repeatedly asked for a nurse and no one came. The emergency staff were not overly kind or accommodating to help the pain my mom was in. My mom was not offered anything to eat or drink and when she was finally not nauseous and ready to eat they told her she couldn’t due to waiting for an MRI… I understand that hospitals are busy and many people need help but seriously do not think it is fair to be ignored especially when you have a migraine and literally can not function. Also the room we were in was extremely hot and when I asked the nurses if they could do something, they basically ignored me. My mom has been dealing with alot of health issues over the years and her migraines have not subsided. I just can’t believe how people can be in a human service field who are not helpful to the patients who are suffering.
