my family and have been eating here for years, and always found the employees to be super friendly and always had good experiences with our food.

So I came here for the first time. My boyfriend and I ordered meatball grinders! The worst decision. Eating that was like eating the chef Boyardee meatballs in the spaghetti just with bread… Sauce wasn’t great, meatballs were disgusting and dried. I would never go back! I would be afraid to try anything else there.

This place is your basic pizza/sandwich joint that gives a variety to hard working patrons around in the surrounding businesses, a break from the MCdonald’s and other fast food places near by. The one big con is that they try to do too much and things they can’t handle. Breakfast is serious for most people and if you are going to offer it, you actually have to know how to make it. Hire someone with experience or simply know your limits and stick with what you are good at. My husband loves the BLT sandwich, and it did look great, someone near me had a calzone and appeared to be very happy with that. I on the other hand had the drenched in oil fried eggs as they don’t know how to do poached eggs, with home fries that were ok but bland and some toast on the side that was smothered in butter. On a good note the place appears clean and neat, offers a good variety of juice, soda and coffee. Comfy boots and a really nice stone levier wall, a tv in the high corner by the door. Again… A place to grab a quick lunch to go on your short lunch break between work, in the not so great end of town by the highway.

I got stuck from a canceled flight and the guy at the front desk of the Baymont recommended this place(that should have been my first clue but that’s another review) 4:45 I have a coupon for $ 14.99 for a 12 in pie 10 wings and a soda. The semi rude man told me it would be 45 min. 5:50 I called to ask about my order. The weather was a little nasty so I was patient and he told me the driver was almost here. 6:50 my order arrived!!! No wings, wrong soda and they charged me $ 16. Dude said he would refund a discount, if the pattern continues I can plan on nothing happening. Oh and the pie SUX!!!

Ok, this place has a sign Breakfast Lunch and Dinner… and they will do breffie any time OFDAY! That right there earns them the 2nd star., We ORDERED(TAKEOUT): l know I LOVE Breffie… so today we decided to grab a to go order from here(thank goodness it was to go, wasn’t super comfy or welcoming in there) but thats ok, they prob do most of their business as deliveries(which gives this place the 2nd star… not a lot of places deliver to the South End!) Anywhoo, we tried a couple different things to give it a chance. Bacon(crispy), egg and cheese: on a plain toasted Bagel. GOOD. Bacon was crisp, just as ordered. Was pretty tasty, would get it again. Sausage, egg and cheese: thought we were getting it on their ‘grilled bread’ but came on a very soft and yummy Kaiser/Bulky roll. Sausage looked deceptively light in color… was wondering if properly cooked. We’ll see, only ate half of it. taste was decent but we enjoyed the Bacon one better. After placing order(will continue with what we got in a minute…) we noticed they also serve gyros(which is Greek sandwich, with a meat that is a combo of lamb and beef(somehow formed together, then roasted on a spit, usually)… Next time, I think i will DEFINITELY try a gyro meat, feta, and onion omelet sandwich. We decided we would NOT be gettin’ the sausage again. OK, so back to this time… We had ordered a small side of homefries, and geesh! He filled the styrofoam thing almost.(yay, would normally get a star just for being so generous,… Sadly, they were plain, and unflavorful, altho u could taste the freshness of the potato. These could use some more seasoning, and perhaps another hour or two on the flat-top grill(like Mo’s to get all crispy)…will NOT get the h/fries again. OH, and since it was lunchtime… and they had some pizza already made with slices, we decided to grab one Pepperoni one to taste it. Bleckkkhh!!! Very strange, plain, and uneventful… and OMGGREASY! I could not believe the HUGE puddle of grease that accumulated in just the few mins from there to home… ALL of it, the sauce, mozz AND crust were nothing to get excited about… Will try again for the gyro, and maybe a tuna sub sometime… maybe another sub, Beleive it or not, I’m glad I now know!, I got so excited when i learn of Breffie all day… I could definitely get a BEC again… but will NOT get the pizza!
