History
Established in 1984.
Greg Cain started back in High School 1978 on a wood project making a Waterbed.
His Grandpa owned Hartford Lumber Co. where he would get wood and materials to do beds. I liked it so much he continued through school and went in to retail in 1984 in East Alton IL. Back in the 80’s waterbeds were very popular and since then we have added a variety of sleep products as times have changed to Gel-Memory Foam mattress and Latex mattresses to name a few. In 2001 we open a second location in Hartford, IL at same location were Hartford Lumber Co. was since family business retired and closed. We sold a variety of different sleep products at both locations up until July 19 2006. The business in Hartford was struck by lighting when a pretty bad storm hit metro-area that evening which engulfed the business at a total loss. During the rebuilding of the store we retailed from East-Alton store, and August of 2007 to present is where we are only now in Hartford, IL.
